As someone noted earlier, the highest-paid 4-3 OLB earns $12.5 million, and Jamie Collins is not my idea of an elite player. To be fair, SAM is technically an OLB and when I originally mentioned contracts (where JDub is referring to Collins) I posted 4-3 OLB salaries, in which Collins is the highest, followed by Burfict who is also a SLB. Then you have Telvin, then David. Of ALL LBs, Telvin is 7th, which is still cheaper than the talk of tagging him would have been. He may be the highest paid as a WLB, but it's not vastly more or even really out of line. He likely would have gotten more on the open market.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

And you pay more money to game-changers. I don't know why people think we are overpaying a very good WLB. I think it's fair to consider Telvin the top paid off ball OLB in the league.

It is great to see excellence rewarded.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

The guy has either thrown interceptions or fumbled 6 times in two games. He can't hit any of his receivers. Even Jordy Nelson. If Hundley can't get him the ball, how is he supposed to be successful? Adams successes/failures should not be attached to Hundley at all. I am a huge UCLA fan. I watched Hundley throughout his college career. I already know Hundley's limitations as a QB. He's will never be a good pro QB.

Waiting until after the bye week will give you a slightly better picture of Brett Hundley's chemistry with the receivers and starting offensive line. I never thought he will be a good NFL quarterback, but am holding out hope talent around him can cover up some of his limitations.

Playmakers make plays. Telvin is a playmaker. Glad to see him get his due, he has definitely earned it. His leadership skills are off the charts, as is his motor and competitiveness.
