I have lots of unpopular positions but I can't post many of them here.

 

Simple ones;

 

I enjoy talk radio (all kinds not just political) more then music on the radio.

 

I don't think theft is EVER justified, no matter how desperate one gets. There's always a better option.

 

I hate smart phones

 

and you can count me in the Jay-Z and West are idiots camp but I think that's a more popular then unpopular opinion.

Kevin Smith movies-


Not a fan. In fact I think they are corny and unenjoyable. I just don't get it. I consider myself somewhat of a movie snob and many other film buffs will swear that Kevin Smith movies are great, and I just don't get it. Wish I did, but I don't.

Social media is completely annoying. I am on facebook, but I don't use it nearly as much as basically every person I see nowadays. Everything you see nowadays has a # on it or some other stupid thing linking to some social media thing. Only reason I'm even on facebook is because I just recently got a smartphone. Every time you turn on ESPN whoever is talking on their has a #Whatevertheirnameis like anyone gives a damn.


This one probably isn't as unpopular as I would expect, but I haven't liked any mainstream music since probably the late 90's.


The Big bang theory and 2 and a half men are complete garbage. I seriously cannot figure out why anyone would watch that stuff.


All of those unbelievably dumb "reality" shows are also garbage. Duck Dynasty, all of those pawn shop shows, lumberjack shows, trucker shows, honey boo boo, etc. Bunch of idiotic crap if you ask me. Not funny nor entertaining in the least.


Those are just off the top of my head, I'm sure I could come up with quite a few more.

He's a writer/director responsible for Mall Rats and Clerks and all of the Jay and Silent Bob silliness.


Jay and silent Bob are about as unfunny as any 'comedy' duo I can think of.

Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma for starters. Smith writes, directs, acts and has produced. He's an acquired taste, but to a certain demographic he is revered.

 

I can listen to Jay and Silent Bob conversations all day, but I understand why folks might not care for Smith's work.

Here's one for you...I think Bruce Springsteen is a horrible singer.

 

He's not a good singer. But thats not why he's so popular anyway. The songwriting and lyrics are. 

 

Dylan sucked as a singer as well. But was one of the best lyricists ever. Thats why he's legendary.

If I wanted to listen to words...I'd be into poetry. Let someone else sing them...I'd rather listen to a piano being tuned than to either one of them!!
