So Andrew Luck is just above-average

(This post was last modified: 01-08-2014, 12:01 PM by The Mad Dog.)

Quote:Luck is doing more with less then some guys on this list, that is for sure.

Yep, the only QB on that list that seems to be doing as well with less is Brady & Russell Wilson. Maybe Newton as well.

Do people understand just how barren the Colts offensive skill positions are?? TY Hilton is their go-to guy. lol. They have street FA's filling some of their other WR spots and playing high volume snaps. They have a horrible running game....

Despite all that, Luck just orchestrated a 28 point comeback playoff win, and is now 18-2 in games decided by 20 points or less.

He consistently makes big plays downfield, and is also one of the best physical athletes to play the position which helps him avoid QB sacks and extend plays.

His intelligence/ understanding and command of the position is top notch and he's an extremely hard worker and good leader/ teammate.

What exactly is not to like?

And the fact that he has accuracy issues with deep and intermediate passes.

Lies. He's as smart as Manning and as accurate as Brees and as mobile as Newton.

1 & 3 are absolutely correct.

That is funny! So he's as football smart as probably the GOAT in that respect and as mobile as the guy who averages 9 rushing TDs a year?

Come on he's got a lot of potential but that is homerism at its best.

Ace Sanders is as good as Santana Moss

Andrew Luck can butt fumble a touchdown with stunning accuracy, he's that good.

I simply can't allow this myth to continue without addressing it.

Losing Reggie Wayne didn't create a drought as some have advertised.  He's still got TY Hilton (an EXCELLENT young receiver) and not one, but TWO guys he's been throwing to his entire college career in the stable.

Ty Hilton was so wide open in that game even Blaine Gabbert may have found him a couple of times. It was an awesome performance! I haven't been that impressed by a wr outside of the Megatron's etc for a while. He almost singlehandedly won the game.

LOL. Ty Hilton? 2 receivers that he's been playing with since his freshman year in college? A top 10 tight end? Donald Brown? Trent Richardson? Seriously? Get out of here. He's as average as it gets.

You don't watch much football, do you?

Average as it gets?

Trent Richardson?

Are you going to completely dismiss the entirety of my post because I said he had the #3 overall pick in the 2012 draft to his disposal? You're an imbecile.

Ya, I honestly do think he's as smart as Peyton and will only get better. Is it really that outlandish to believe that? Really? Does that mean I think he's a better player than Peyton right now? Absolutely not.

Oh and just because you run more, doesn't make you a better runner. You should know that by now with your obsession over Trent Richardson.

WHY AREN'T THE RAIDERS AMAZING?!?! THEY HAD JAMARCUS RUSSELL. THEY HAD A #1 DRAFT PICK AT THIER DISPOSAL!!!!!!!

The Seahawks have arguably the best O-line in football. The Colts O-line is average, IMO.

Luck's made the most of what he has. It remains to be seen how far he can go, but there's no doubt he's going to be elite level very soon.
