Alabama gets beat by Oklahoma and gives up a ton of points.

 

Georgia gets beat by Nebraska.

 

Texas A&M squeaks by Duke (same team FSU blew out) and gives up a ton of points.

 

Clemson beats Ohio State.

 

Those are supposed to be Auburn's signature wins in the tough SEC and the three team looked average.

 

Two of the Auburn wins (Bama/UGa) were well documented flukes and the other (A&M) was a game in which Manziel got injured.

 

Meanwhile FSU embarrassed Clemson on their own field. The same Clemson team that went up and down the field on OSU last night.

 

FSU stonewalled Duke. The same Duke team that went up and down the field on A&M Tuesday night.

 

It all leads me to believe Monday night will not be close.

 

 

I'm kicking myself now for watching an SEC Championship game that did not exist.

You can't turn what I replied to back on Auburn when you were talking FSU. I was simply replying to your comment about FSU's schedule still looking weak or not after they beat Auburn. No matter what, the schedule will not miraculously turn strong after the game, win or lose.

 

The strength of schedules are what they are. Auburn's is ranked 20th, FSU's is 63rd.

A guy in the office is planning his celebration for after the game already.  Its pretty interesting considering all the trash your fan base gave the Gators.  While I agree some are annoying and cocky....FSU is side by side now.

I have never said there weren't/aren't cocky and/or arrogant FSU fans. My point is they have never been to the level of annoyingness that we experienced during the Tebow years. That will stand the test of time. Every winning fan base becomes annoying because so many bandwagon/casual fans jump on. They just have never done it to the extent they did in the Tebow years for any fanbase.


I can understand why Nole fans would be confident though. They have a lot of reason to be. I personally will wait to see it on the field. But that's just me.

It's bowl season. 3+ weeks of preparation against 1 team can mean the world in football. You cant compare past games to this one tonight. You cant really do that in any game. While I believe Florida State is favored..you can't compare schedules at this one. We all agree Ohio state was over rated, right? You better believe they would give Fla State a run for their money if you give Urban three weeks to prepare

I haven't been bitter at all. I have congratulated FSU fans numerous times, as well as replying to several who have said they have bragging rights for a year, scoreboard, etc.

 

Like I said before the game. A win or loss by either school doesn't change how weak or strong the in season schedule was.
