This Week in the AFC South-Week 10
|
If we win, and Pitt, NE, and Ten all lose, we're the #1 seed in the AFC . With that said:
Jags Pitt Tacks (but I'm not confident here) Rams 2-1 last week 17-10 overall.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

With that said: I'm thinking the next week could be huge for the Jaguars. The tacks go to Pittsburgh on a short week after tomorrow. If the Bengals can pull off the upset, and we take care of business, we could have a two game lead with six games remaining, and the tacks still have to play the Rams before us. I would gladly be wrong about the Bengals game if it meant the result I describe above. Hopefully the tacks are looking ahead to Pittsburgh and the Bengals get em. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Week # 9 Results: 2-1
Overall Results 20-7 Week# 10 selections: Jacksonville Pittsburgh Tennessee LA Rams The Jaguars injury situation on Offense, the improved play of the LA Chargers since early in the season, and their comfort playing away are concerns regarding my selection. Yet, after watching the dominance of the Jaguars Defense against the Bengals, the improved play by Blake Bortles, and their O-Line, I'm going with them in a likely hard fought battle. 20-16 score.
What I want...Jags/clots/bungles/horns
What I think will happen? Jaguars over chargers in a tight game. squealers destroy the poor clots bungles revenge on tacks goats over the team formerly know as the texans.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

They achieved this with an eventful 23-7 win over the Bengals, that featured a deactivation of RB Leonard Fournette, who wound up being deactivated because he missed some rehab and a team picture. It also featured a fight between Jaguars' CB Jalen Ramsey and Bengals' WR A.J. Green. I have to think Ramsey's success against Green had something to do with the fracas. I can't imagine he is the only CB who has talked trash to him, or even pushed him before the whistle stopped. But I have enough respect for AJ Green to know not too many guys have held him to 1 catch for 6 yards in one half of play. If Ramsey wasn't doing well against him, I don't think anything he said would have mattered. If anything, Green, et al would have beat him and laughed. But the fact the Jaguars played without two of their better players and still won handily speaks to where this team is headed. They are tied with the tacks record wise, who eked out a win over the Ravens. The Colts and Texans, decimated by bad drafting and injuries respectively, are taking up the rear, each two games back. This one seems easy: Jags, steelers, Tacks, Rams 8-1 overall 2-1 last week. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his.
