The Future Quarterback - I think it's Bortles

I missed out on the Brunell era, so he's the only QB we've had in 15 years that can make the passing attack fun to watch. My time as a fan has been Leftwich, Garrard, Gabbert, Henne. So there's that.

You poor, poor child. I'll say this. Brunell was no John Elway or Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, but he was the best QB this franchise has ever seen. We have yet to see a truly great QB wear a Jaguars jersey. Hopefully that will change in 2018.

Leftwich wasn't that bad of a QB. Dude was just always dinged up and toward the end there, Garrard's ability to use his legs outweighed the lack of QB awareness between the ears.
Leftwich had an arm, and the right QB head... but his lack of mobility and injuries just kinda caught up to him.

If Bortles had Tom Coughlin, Fred Taylor, Jimmy Smith, and Keenan McCardell for his 4 seasons......he would have DESTROYED Brunell's numbers. DESTROYED.

Instead he's had Gus Bradley, Toby Gerhart/TJ Yeldon, Allen Robinson and Marquise Lee.

Yeah that must be the reason why the Ravens and Bills not don't want him. He can throw a slant pass. That's it. See ya.
Look man.  Do u want a real answer or a Teal Koolaid one?  Taylor is a much better QB. Bills are a train wreck.  And the Ravens have Flacco.  They will use the draft to groom next QB.

Will Taylor through FA end up a Jag?  Highly doubtful just like Cousins.  Too much money on market.  When can Draft one next year.

Only one quarterback in the league has not lead a touchdown drive in the first quarter this year. Any guesses?
