that pass with under a minute left should be a fireable offense

My god how do you let them catch TWO passes for first downs on the sideline? What kind of defense is that? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Offensive play calling and decision making isn't going to get any better as long as Hackett is here.

third down in field goal range, you run the entire offense to one side of the field to try and complete a 3 yard pass. Then when the defense bails you out the first time, you decide to run a 5 yard crossing pattern on your own 15 allowing the other team to get the ball back with time on the clock. And then, for some reason, we don't defend the sidelines. The receivers dropped a lot of balls, we didn't run the ball worth anything and our QB threw the ball into the belly of a defender with 2:47 left but this game was also horribly mismanaged....
Blaine... Gabbert... I picked a heck of a day to quit drinking...
This is the worst feeling Ive had after a loss all year and it's not even close.

Marrone has made MANY questionable calls this season. Just like the 4th and 6 go for it decision instead of taking the 3 points in a one possession game... He is a TERRIBLE game day decision maker... He acts like a rookie coach.
This loss is on the coaches. No adjustment until too late, and horrible decisions throughout.

It's fine to criticize the guy, but don't you think you're overreacting? The team was 3-13 last year. The man is up for coach of the year.

Maybe off but one game but looking more and more possible It’s very possible. Tell me how we beat Houston, Seattle and Tennessee. Houston beat those same cardinals last week. Seattle is Seattle. Tennessee already whipped us once. We’re playing out west for the 49er game, our kryptonite for years. And Indy is playing close games they aren’t laying down We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! We got out coached and out played today.
First game of the year that falls mostly on the coaches, in my opinion.
This team has made great strides this year but the coaching this game, and even games we won, is suspect. I make better game management calls on Madden for free. He gets paid a lot of cash to make the correct calls in these situations.

We have vastly overachieved this year due to the weakest schedule I have ever seen, and a defense that is good. This team would get creamed in the playoffs by any team. We aren't ready.

No, he has made many terrible decisions throughout the year that gets swept under the rug because the team wins by the defense bailing them out. He is a good coach mon-sat but on game day he has continued to be a very poor decision maker. Now that they lost it will be acknowledged by fans, but I have been saying all year that he makes very questionable decisions constantly on game day. Coach of the year? Not even in the top 5. This team wins by defense, and Marrone has no part of that. |
