Secondly the best unit we've had in years is a pretty freaking small bar to set.

The one where Yannick strip sacked and Telvin fell on a TD for the game winning TD?

They've been good at making plays, where was the pressure. Kizer had time most of the game just like today. Don't act like one play changes the reality this defense has not been getting consistent pressure like you'd expect from a team with multiple 10 sack games. Something's different I don't know what, either teams have figured out our scheme, we're not using the same packages, or we're just not executing them as well but it's not the same defense we saw the first 6 weeks right now.

How?

Well, he only completed one. The receiver pretty clearly didn't have possession of the ball in the other, but the announcers made a point of not saying anything about that, and apparently the review guys in New York did too.

We knew the offense was patch work at best, but the defense just got exposed.

And they had a scoop 6 and an INT to put the team in position to win.

Hackett is to blame with 80% middle draw runs on 1st and 2nd down.

Not to mention Marrone mismanaged the clock and could have force OT.

We lost a game so all of the trolls an the board will post everything they’ve been waiting to post during the winning streak.

It's the best defense in the NFL. Sure Gabbert and Arians had us schemes up nicely but at the end of the day the defense had us ready to win today and the offense [BLEEP] it up.

Why are people apologizing for a defense letting BLAINE FREAKING GABBERT complete 2 great passes in crunch time?

You do realize this defense was sacking the QB at a best ever rate, right?

Really is Gabbert THAT good or was our defense vastly overrated?

It has to be one or the other you pick. I watched Gabbert, hell defended Gabbert up until the end, he ain't THAT good.

this has to be one of the worst takes ive ever seen

Austin Davis went 17-20, 155 yards, 2 td against the 2014 seahawks in a win

gabber was better but the chunk of his yards came on busted coverages that don't happen very often

[BLEEP] happens

Overreacting. One bad game, and the defense is exposed? Really?

You can not convince these people don't get off on watching the Jags lose. You could practically hear them start to salivate the moment Bortles threw that pick.

Our entire has been exposed. Stop the run, blitz Bortles, and que up the clown music.

We will probably stumble our way into the playoffs and then get embarrassed on national TV.

It is imperative that this team get a good QB or this talent build up will be for nothing.

Grow up.

Ran all over us for a whopping 79 yards. This defense CONSTANTLY bails out the offense. The scored a defensive TD.... again. Picked off Gabbert to help set up a potential game winning drive only to have Blake throw an interception.

Next time, wait a little bit before throwing your hissy fit tantrum.

You're right facing that Juggernaut Blaine Freaking Gabbert we should've expected a close game that would test our elite Defense.

Blaine Freaking Gabbert people!!!

How will a good QB help out a Run, Run, Pass play-calling scheme?

Our defense played well. If our offense did anything in the first half it would have been a whole different game.
Here we go again

I guess if you call the deep ball that burned Church busted coverage his stats don't seem impressive and we can hold onto our fragile belief this is an elite unit capable of carrying the worse offense we've probably fielded since oh I don't know Blaine Gabbert was our leader?
