Not sure if they watched any film from the Houston game, same thing! Lit them up, but once they changed it up he crapped out.

You take away their two games where they had 10 sacks and this team is only getting an average of a sack a game wich isnt really high for a defense thats considered the best. PITs defense has been playing lights out for the past 5 games, heck even Tennessee had 9 sack game today.

You are a troll! Where were you when Pittsburgh was taking your boys apart? Where were you when you were getting an early beatdown today? You get your share of first back, and presto you appear.

JAX & TEN have horrible coaches, HOU does not. Bill O’Brien is easily one of the best coaches in the league. He atleast has 3 points for HOU every Sunday on brain-trust alone.

Marrone & Mularkey are being saved by talented players that are overcoming their lame schemes, and by the down year of our division. Neither Marrone or Mularkey should be NFL caliber coaches.

Don’t feed him.

Like you said when the Tacks get beat down and the jags are on a winning streak he is nowhere to be found

No. Its an overrated defense that feasted on bad qbs. Rivers the only good qb they played had no problem. Gabbart had no issues either wilson will torch them to.

Where was the pass rush yesterday? Fowler was manhandled all game and to be honest, so was Campbell. Besides scoring yesterday, Campbell has been quiet past few weeks. I thought Barry Church got a little exposed yesterday in Coverage.

Gabbert has established the blueprint to beating the elite D. Quick 1 read decision passes because I'm scared to get hit, if first read is not there, run scared like your life depended on it.

Or, maybe Mr. "I got greedy" can instruct his DC to not play horrendous zone defense against a 1 read QB.

Secondly the best unit we've had in years is a pretty freaking small bar to set.

We had 5 sacks against the Browns last week. What type of completely unrealistic expectations do you have where that isn't good?

The 2nd best D gave up bomb after bomb to Brett Hundley last night.  It happens.

I know you're happy the Jags lost.   Something to be miserable about.

He got schooled on the score, fine. Did he get exposed on the pick? Campbell over the past 3 games has 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, and a score! Is he supposed to get 4 sacks every game to get your attention?

Man. Some of you are nuts.

Every week the defense creates turnovers and scores TDs. What else do you want them to do? If we didn't have this defense, the Jags would be 2-9..... Just like every other year. This defense is tasked with winning games all on their own. In the past 2 games, the offense has scored 3 TDs while the defense has scored twice. This team would be absolutely nothing without the defense. They have single handily won the Texans, Ravens, Steelers, Chargers, Browns and Colts game. God forbid they give up 20 because we all know that means the game is over considering this offense can't do anything.

Defense exposed? Make sure to show up on the weeks where the defense carries this team to victory instead of showing up on weeks like this.

This defense has pushed, pulled, and dragged the offense to win after win this season. And people want to bag on them because they weren't good enough to do it this week?
Give me a frickin break.

This team is dealing with injuries, which can not be controlled. Top 2 WR targets are out. 2 OL guys (probably our 2nd and 3rd best OL guys) are out.
The only constantly bad part of this team is the got danged QB.

His best games are average play for most QBs. His best games are 250 and 2 TDs.
SMH... And even then, he's still liable to throw an INT just to make sure it's close.

Ya'll trying to bag on the defense? Exposed??? C'mon... Yeah, when teams wanna dink and dunk and throw to the RBs in the flats they are gonna be able to avoid our pass rush and find holes in zones.
If anything our coaching at the coordinator level gets exposed at times... but even then...

If Bortles was just slightly above average for more than 1 quarter a game.... geez... I'd bet we'd be undefeated... maybe 1 loss.
You guys make me sick... so many trolls just come out of the woodwork after a loss.

The only issue with this is Bortles hasnt made game winning throws in the regular season let alone in the playoffs and in the Super Bowl but I understand your sentiment

This defense is built to punch people in the mouth once we have a two possession lead. We didn't have a lead (for a huge portion) of Sunday's game. They at times only rushed three guys and played more conservatively.

Watch. Should we ever get a lead again (which I honestly sometimes worry about), our defense will look the part as they have in the past and take more risks. It's not like they've suddenly been "figured out" and now they will suck. Doing what they've done this season isn't normal by any standard, and frankly as fans, we've really been spoiled by some impressive outings.

This unit is fine. I would worry about the running game, health of receivers and O-line.
You're Welcome.

Someone on Facebook said Ramsey got "exposed" against the Browns and then just shut down a HOF WR.

I think people don't understand the difference between "exposed" and "a bad game"
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

It's not just one bad game. Where was the pressure last week against the Browns?

Secondly the best unit we've had in years is a pretty freaking small bar to set.

We sacked the Browns 5 times and had 5 turnovers in that game.

Sure you want to be careful blitzing when you face a guy like Rodgers are Brady who will make you pay for it, but when you have a qb like Gabbert who is known to crumble under pressure, you simply have to get to him. When the front four was clearly not hitting home, it's on Wash to call up some blitzes. Get his Gabs face, and that game is another Jaguars blowout win

I think the coaching staff got too cute on both the offensive and defensive side. The obvious botched final offensive drive and on defense, way too much zone and what was with the prevent defense at the end of the game? Time to get back to the basics.

The funniest part of this is that it’s the other side of the ball that’s been getting “exposed” since the bye (or the Rams game if you want to stretch it)

How many offensive TDs have they scored in that timeframe?

Like you said, the defense has been rescuing and masking the offense for a month.
