I don't like all these mocks having Oakland taking the leftover QB we don't take between manziel and bortles. I really hope Caldwell makes the right move.

Oddly I'm starting to think Cleveland and Houston trade places for an extra first this year, and maybe a 2nd next year.

Cleveland takes Manziel at 1

Rams and Jags switch places for a 4th rounder, and the Jags take Bridgewater

Rams take Matthews

Houston takes Bortles

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I don't want the Jags trading up at all.

Take the BAP at 3, or trade down and stocklile picks.

If Alcohol is the first pick in the draft, I'll poo in my hat and eat it.

My only fear in the draft is the browns jumping in front of us to take Manziel which is very realistic

I would not trade up. A 3rd or 4th round pick could be a very good and needed center, guard, or even wide receiver in this draft. Take the best remaining QB with the 3rd pick, and let the rebuild truly begin with all the additional weapons and building blocks that the full complement of picks allow.

So you wouldn't trade up to get who you consider the best QB in the draft?  Even if it just cost a 4th?  Sure, you can get a player with that 4th.  But if the QB you are left with isn't as good, it's not going to make a huge difference.

If the difference between getting Bridgewater and not getting Bridgewater is a fourth-round pick, I'd take the deal and get Bridgewater.

All day long and twice on Sundays.

In order to rebuild, you have to destroy.

Cleveland giving up the farm to move up to #1 for Manziel?

Pass the doobie this way ------->

I don't think the Texans will trade... I think that was just a move so they can see if there is any value in the market so they have all options

I don't think considering there is depth at QB de tackle and cornor they will get a nibble not as they would want the farm

I think they will either go Bridgewater or Matthews

There d was 4th in the league turn overs killed the season. If they believe they have something in Keenum Matthews and brown would give them Hildebrand ensure Keening wasn't running for his life as much this season

The most sensible option is Bridgewater

I think the rams will trade with Cleveland for a 2nd and I think they pick manziel the kid will add excitement to deflated franchise along with potential for solidarity at the QB position.

Also Cleveland has a ready made deepthreat in josh Gordon and a QB in Jason Campbell that can lead the team if Manziel takes time adapting

Plus if they resign Mack they have a great experienced center to help him bed in

Its a great fit for both and trading with the rams is cheaper than trading with Houston

Jags then have a great choice and it all depend on two factors

guy?

Does Caldwell think bortles/Manziel (if the browns go the other way) is the guy

If no

Does Bradley feel he can motivate clowney and that Clowney will fit in the ethos they are building?

If the answer is no to both those questions we have plenty of trade value and I would be calling Atlanta and Minnesota about a trade

Minnesota at 8 is a lovely trade for us particularly if they are sold on the qbs or Clowney

Atlanta about the opportunity of nicking Clowney or Matthews from right under the rams nose for their first and a second or a third

I think Minnesota trade with us for their first second and a 4th and take clowney/bortles/

The rams will take Matthews

Oakland will the take bortles// Clowney

Atlanta take Greg Robinson

Tampa Sammy Watkins

We then have the choice of Khalil Mack/ Anthony Barr at 8 both of which are great value at that pick and we get a high second to get Travis Swanson to sort the center positiom

You wouldn't trade a 4th round pick to draft Teddy?

I suspect Cleveland or another team will try to trade in front of is for a QB, but I don't know that there is a can't miss prospect where we would need to move up in the draft. Hopefully Clowney draws some interest and another team goes to 2 for him. If not, we will still be able to get a solid player sitting put.
Only a chump boos the home team!

The Rams will probably trade down to 3 and tge Jaguars will give one of their 3 fourth round picks to ensure we get Manziel.

I bet manziels escapability will still be tops in the NFL but when he spins out of a tackler and immediately gets met by an angry DE will he survive lol
