The "what-ifs" don't matter. Nobody knows if Jalen Ramsey would have given up a big play on those occasions. He only gets burned if the receiver actually caught the ball and ran with it.

I am not a fan of his interviews either, but other players like that don't back up what they asy on the field.

Why ask all that crap? Most of the crap the media asks players is cringeworthy.

At the end of the day interviews don't make or break my opinion.  Just added benefits for the fans.  The on field play does.

He clearly got burned down the field, than Dalton being Dalton over throws for 10 yards.

So? He didn't catch it. And Green is a damn good receiver.

No WRs would of caught it, but he clearly got beat by a whole lot.

Again, what's your point? The ball wasn't caught so it doesn't matter. Getting beat by a WR as good as Green happens.

At the end of the day Green had 1 for 6.

I already stated that genius, but unlike some homers on this page that think every player is “God-like” im a fan team first before a player fan first. And I just hope Ramsey doesnt become a distraction down the line, he seems very arrogant and “I” mentality player. He certainly needs to learn how to become a pro.

For the record, while I strongly disagreed with your take, I do not find players to be "god like."  At the end of the day, I am team over player, too.

That said, ultimately the success of the team depends upon having star quality players.  Ramsey is one of those players.  Even if you find Ramsey's attitude distasteful, it is undeniable the Jaguars are not 8-4 without him.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Nice, 42 posts and already name calling! My guess is a pbm, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter. Jags still have the  defensive backfield in the game, and you eventually will have to join again under a new name.

Strong introduction to the board bro. I never said he was "god-like" he is clearly one of the best in the game though.

You kept making the point that he "got burned" by Green. I said that one, he didn't catch the ball so at the end of the day it doesn't matter, and 2, at the end of the day again Green was held in check on the stat sheet.

Green is one of the best WRs in the game and Ramsey is one of the best CBs. Either is capable of beating the other on any given play. You infatuation that Green beat him on a play is comical. Everyone, even the best, get beat occasionally. Again, who cares when they didn't catch the ball?

He's a DB, he's young, and he's good. That mentality is exactly what you want a top corner to have. That "I'm the best in the game" confidence is exactly what makes him one of the best in the game. He even called himself out in this press conference for getting beat by Hilton. I just don't understand the issue, especially when the entire defense feeds off of his energy.

What does learning to be a pro have to do with on field play? Ramsey's job is to play football and to play it at a high level. He does that.

His job isn't to please the media. His job isn't to please you, or I with the things he says. His job is to help make this team better on the field and that's what he does. That's what he gets paid to do.

Alualu is a pro's pro. He's as pro on and off the field as they come, yet what did that get him here? Nothing but hate by way too many morons on this fan base, mostly because of where he was drafted at. Nobody ever brought up, "but yea guys I really like him because he says the right things. He's the ultimate pro". No, all that was brought up was his draft position and that he wasn't making enough plays.

I personally enjoy Ramsey's banter and fire. This team has lacked those kind of guys for way too long and it's shown. The dude is really good. He knows he's really good and he isn't afraid to let anybody else know just how good he is. Why? Because he can easily back it up with his play.

That is the most dumbest thing I’ve heard. Just because his a great player doesnt mean he has the right to act arrogant and not answer to anyone because he thinks hes better than anybody else. There’s a thing being a great player on and off the field, ask Larry Fitzgerald. Also, this is just my opinion but if hes going to continue using “I” and not “team first” attuide, I cant wait to see what happens when he is seeking a big contract. Hopefully it ends well.

Yea, I know I surely hate when he takes all of the blame for giving up a play and said the rest of the Defense wasn't at fault, that it was only him at fault.
I mean, he only said that if it wasn't for him, the Defense likely would have put up a shut out.. I sure hate him being an "I" guy... Laughing
