ESPN: Johnny Manziel a good fit for Jaguars..

Quote:I never claimed he wasn't on some people's radar. The point I am making is some people will convince themselves he is clearly a better prospect than Bridgewater or Manziel, despite the fact they had never heard of him before simply because they are watching YouTube clips of him now.He has also improved. Dude took UCF and won a BCS bowl game. Kinda like when Kurt Warner took the Cardinals to the SB We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I don't see why someone would look down on Bortles because they are late to the party. Everyone should read http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/45...-conundrum. Really paints Manziel, Teddy, and Bortles in a positive light.
If it were an exact science Tim Couch would have a ring and JaMarcus would still be playing. So much depends on the situation the player is placed in and his supporting cast. Every year we hear about size and accuracy or poise or pocket presence or leadership ability or my favorite how a guy can make all the throws. Bortles has shown he has potential and deserves to be in the conversation, but one could argue where he goes has almost as much to do with how successful he will ultimately be as anything he does in the gym or film room.
Only a chump boos the home team!
For the record, I am not opposed to any of these QBs. But I am not in love with any of them. I wouldn't complain if we got any of the three because I would rather roll with any of them than what we have had. I see things I like and don't like in all three.
