Throwing Beer

If you paid 10 bucks for a [BLEEP] bud light you'd be throwing it on the field of play as well.
Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.

Yeah, it's called alcohol abuse. It is shameful.

And there isn't enough beer in the world to help explain why there are pages of debate on this.

Believe me, I am embarrassed. I am embarrassed someone would act like you did on a message board.

So did McNabb this morning.  Still, if you watched ESPN last night, Van Pelt hammered the fans as if it was the entire stadium.  Peter King ripped the fans in MMQB today as well.

Then there is this....

Bugs me is dude just should have shut his mouth and left.  The league has gestapo types that will find the people and ban them from NFL stadiums unless it is the entire dawg pound Wink

Lol.  It's not security's fault the moron didn't leave the field.  Watched a security guy climb into the stands to get the guy who threw the beer though.

Knowing the NFL, we'll lose a draft pick or something ludicrous.

Initially I was upset with the fan in the mist of all of this but then I woke up this morning and saw how the national media is spinning this story.

You know what, if they want to make Everbank sound like the roughest, loudest, most obnoxious stadium to come play in then so be it. If we are the bad guys and this team won’t let you make it out alive then I’m all for it. They won’t focus on dominating Russ just this stupid stuff which by the way Bennett started in the first place, Cool. Bring 3 chin straps and a bullet proof vest when you come to Duval county

Wouldn't have happened if they didnt start a fight with our team

Shame the focus was the ending. I had a few Seahawks around me and they were great. A little [BLEEP] talking back and forth but in the end, we’re football fans. This one incident was not indicative of the overall atmosphere.

Could you shed some light on the events that led to it?  I'm honestly just curious what was said.
Fans were booing, our players were yelling at him and then he yelled back some obscenities.  Someone threw a water bottle and then a gatorade as he was approaching. The beer actually wasn’t thrown. It was knocked out of someones hand at the tunnel. No beer came close to hitting him. FYI, beer sales stop third quarter. Saw a can and some beads go airborne also. They grabbed a few guys from the stands. Now that the NFL is focused on this, these individuals most likely will be banned. On a side note, I’d pay good money to see Jefferson try to get ahold of ol’ boy in that section that is just a large.

You can watch bennett spend way too much time trying to injure linder.

Absolute scum.

All i could think about (besides being embarrassed on behalf of Jag Nation) was that THOSE HOPS DIED FOR NOTHING!!!!
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Seattle has a 12th Man. Ours just happens to be the Bud Light guy.

What was that thing that went over the security guy's head? It looked like a big piece of lettuce.

Bennett is a piece of [BLEEP] for doing what he did. He had damn well better get suspended. I can't say I've seen replays of exactly what Jefferson did.

Explain to me why it is ok for Jags fans to throw beer on an NFL player with kids.

This is so messed up.

I am embarrassed.

You should be too

This is not what we're about.

So I noticed you joined the forum as a Seattle fan? So the only thing you have to be embarrassed about is looking foolish on the field.

No Seahawks suspended per Shefter.

Gatorade

NFL network blow hards have talked about nothing more than how crappy our fans were. Nothing about poor sportmanship or how that Jags played, other than how our defense isn’t that great and got exposed. Heath Evans is a turd!
