I like American muscle cars but as an engineer I can not stand the fact they are deliberately made less good than they can be. Put a modern suspension on a Mustang or a Corvette and you have first rate car. Now they're simply "good enough."


On the subject of cars; unless you actually own a ranch or work in construction you have no business owning a massive pickup truck. Get over yourself and stop overcompensating.


The 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's are all massively overrated decades. Any who advocates a return to those "more simpler times" is nostalgic about something that never existed.

This is really out of hand in my area. EVERYONE drives a 4-door pickup, and if not a 4-door pickup it's the biggest SUV there is.

I work in construction, and the company won't buy a two-door any more.  Hauling people is just as important as hauling rocks or towing trailers, and the dry, secure storage comes in handy more than bed space.
