They are competing, they aren't out there not trying to win. The players know they have a game against a big rival next week and then more than likely playing the week after in the playoffs. Losing players in games like this doesn't earn you enough. Yes let's play for the 1st round bye but let's also make sure we're ready for a strong playoff push.
