Removing the tarps for more seats!

#21

I'm hoping that due to not knowing who we are playing we can get the majority of the seats filled with jags fans!

Wayne Weaver probably wishes he would've held on a little longer.

Good news but not so much for those that paid an exorbitant amount thru 3rd party vendors thinking that was their only option left.

This is really something.  To see this, after the preseason we had, is incredible.   Kudos to the Jags' organization, because even when we were losing, they were going all out to enhance the fan experience, and now that we're winning, everything's coming together and our future is brighter than it's ever been.

I am so pumped up.  I never would have believed this could happen this year.   It's like we wandered in the desert for 10 years, and finally we come to a rise, and climb a hill, and there it is- the promised land.  We did it.  We're in the playoffs.

I so agree on the fan experience stuff... That's about all the team had to sell for many years...  how much fun it was to come to Everbank with friends and party..   It took a while for fans to believe since they lost games to Titans and Rams at home along with all the home preseason games...   It took them to Nov to win at home and then it was  a tough game vs Chargers.. It wasn't till they blew out Colts and then SeaHawks game that was closer than it should have been ( still lots of visiting fans)..  It wasn't till the Texans game that was a true Jacksonville sellout it turned around..  And now  this...

The release of more upper deck seats will depress the upper deck resale market which I'm happy about since that's where brokers soaked up cheaper seats to sell..

Man, that place is going to be loud. This should be a bizarre sight and sound from field level for Lewis and Poz who were here during the really dark days when only a few dozen people showed up for games.

Anyone able to venture a guess how much the remaining 3500 tickets will be if you purchase on jaguars.com at 10 am?

$35-40 I'm guessing? That's about $130k extra in revenue if they sell out.

The cheapest seats yesterday in section 443 were $52 + fees to season ticket holders but I believe that was a discounted price. The new tickets will probably be priced in the $65ish range + fees to the general public. Section 443 is comparable to the tarped sections.

Maybe I'll buy a ticket. Never been to a game before and I'm only down in Gville. I probably will have a [BLEEP] view though.

No you won't . There is no [BLEEP] views in the stadium. Especially with the worlds largest most high definition score board displays.

I sat up in the 400s before.  I didn’t think it was a bad view.

Interesting, I might have to get a ticket if the prices aren't too bad. I won't need binoculars or anything?

Not unless you want to see things up close, like a cheerleader for example...
