Someone asked me a question the other day...
Would you rather have your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks in the draft or have 15 selections in the 3rd round? I think I would go with the 15 picks in the 3rd haha
Shock the world

Why trade back in the fourth and fifth rounds? We have two picks in Round 4 and three picks in Round 5. No reason to trade back in either round.
It is important to remember how we rotate with the other 4-12 teams throughout the draft. These numbers do not include the Texans and Rams/Redskins picks: Round 1: First Round 2: Fifth Round 3: Fourth Round 4: Third Round 5: Second Round 6: First Round 7: Fifth That does not look good for trading back.
Quote:I would stay with the original picks myself. Me too, except I would not mind trading up in Round 3 if anybody wants a pick we got from the Ravens.

Quote:UPDATE: WE ARE LOOKING FOR OFFERS NOW. HERE IS A RECENT IMAGE. Ouch.....I remember that.....that was so embarrassing. :pinch: I mean.....sheeesh.....The Jags W-R looks like whats in front of me during money league FF drafts. :woot: The only thing missing on their table is empty beer bottles, lol. Quote:UPDATE: WE ARE LOOKING FOR OFFERS NOW. HERE IS A RECENT IMAGE. That was hilarious... lmao, I'm still laughing. Can't believe that. They still had a great draft also. :woot: OT: I'd be all for a trade back with the Vikings to get Watkins. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Absolutely.
Quote:That was hilarious... [BAD WORD REMOVED], I'm still laughing. Can't believe that. They still had a great draft also. :woot: It was funny, but it made us look real bad compared to the others shown. As for "they still had a great draft" .....we really won't know that for another year or 2. I'd say First impressions were a "good" draft....funny, the Jags 2013 draft was very similar to Gene's 2009 draft....and we all thought that 1 year after that draft that it was going to be a good draft....and look how that turned out??.... I don't really care about how they looked, but it was very amusing. I laughed, but I don't consider all those boards, people, computers, and screens important. In fact, I think they're just distractions. Gene's first draft fell apart. Mike Thomas was a Diva, Knighton got fat, Coz kept getting hurt, Miller kept getting hurt, Jennings had no confidence, Britton got hurt, and Monroe got traded. That draft was good and then went bad through one thing or another. Regardless, I like last year's draft more.
Quote:It was funny, but it made us look real bad compared to the others shown.I disagree, I think it looks like these guys had their stuff together. They look like they are calm because they know what they are going to do.

In fact, I think they're just distractions. You don't care how it looked?... I'd say that picture did nothing to help the previous image of our franchise being in disarray. Plus, you overlook the notion of the fallout of people in Jacksonville seeing that same picture - you think that helps the Jags sell tickets when prospective buyers see what looks like incompetence on TV, (by comparision)?? I'd bet you Shad Khan after seeing that picture was not happy. He's more image conscious and understands the potential fallout of something like that. I wouldn't doubt that when they show the Jags war room this season, that it looks a heckuva lot more like the others than the embarrassing shot from last year.
Quote:I disagree, I think it looks like these guys had their stuff together. They look like they are calm because they know what they are going to do. Dude, I have more stuff in front of me for mere fantasy football drafts. (not much more) but per comparison nonetheless. For examples sake - Lets just say that pic up there had Tennessee as the team with only 2 men in the room with what looks like 2 elementary school level notebooks in front of them, and the other 3 teams in the pic had a full room of people with notes/ computers etc etc....wouldn't we not be making fun of the Titans??? If you say no, I'll call you a liar, because you know you would. I would. and most of us would be. It simply doesn't look good. We show less advertisements to registered users. Only a complete idiot thinks that our war room looked like that the entire time. Why have all those tables if there won't be any people sitting there and taking part? I agree that pic looks funny, but to imply or think that it was just Gus and Dave, as pictured, for the entire draft is silly.

Thats what I looked for first. Like I said....I'll bet you Shad Khan was not happy with how that looked, as thank goodness he is image conscious, and sees how that pic would do more harm than anything for the image he's trying to change. As said, I'd bet when they show the Jags war room this year, it will look a lot more like the rest.
We picked early on.... if we weren't going to get a trade, Joeckel was our pick.
Perhaps all the other people around are just unnecessary distractions at that point. I do think our war room last year at other points probably looked just like all the other ones. We don't know what time this pic was taken etc.
