So Andrew Luck is just above-average

Quote:If you actually watched some of those interceptions, they weren't all Luck's fault.  The important thing to keep in mind is that Luck is only in his second season.

Luck is the real deal.  Does he make some mistakes?  Yep.  But he's got talent and the "IT" factor.

It's a QB driven league.  We have GOT to find that franchise QB if we're going to compete.  I don't know if that's Johnny Football, Teddy Bridgewater, or someone else, just hope we hit on the right guy this time.

Which one's weren't his fault? You can't expect fullbacks to be flexible enough to catch passes thrown behind them.

Yes we need a QB. Doen't make Luck better than above average at best

You have to appreciate the title of this tread that was started on December 5, 2013, because it is TRUE.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I've said a lot in this thread, you're going to have to explain.

When you're down in a game & can't run the ball, the QB is going to have to force some things. Andrew made some great plays in this game. He also had 2 really bad picks. It happens. I'm happy with my QB (as every Colts fan is). We'll be back here next year.

It's been a great year. Colts have overcame tremendous obstacles all year. We've improved this year despite many key injuries. Can't wait until next year.

BTW: To those asking where I was during the game - I've never posted in any forum at any time while the Colts are playing. I'm usually in front of the TV watching the game with family/friends.

Like I was "hiding" from you guys, lol. I was here posting all during 2011.

for trading away valuable draft picks for invaluable players assuming your QB can rescue you from any situation........ i.e, see Manning.. if he wasnt facing a "junky" Chicago Bears team who had no business being in a SB would still be titleless.

Colts only played the Bears to get to the Super Bowl?

PS: Bears went 13-3 that year. Far from "junky" IMO

This just shows that the "Manning years" weren't an accident' They never did anything to build the team behind him to "constantly" compete in the playoffs. It all goes back to Captain Morgan. AKA. Jim Irsay....

This is great for the Jaguars. As long as Jim Irsay is running the team (as long as his liver is intact), The Jags have a chance to climb to the top of this division.

Does Irsay have any sons? I am assuming they like drinking and tweeting as well...

I wouldn't be so sure. If any other AFC South team gets some good QB play

Absolutely. The clots defense is so abysmal, anything is possible every season.

P.S. Pagano just said they are building a program for "sustained success". Does that include not having 1st round picks?

Well. I hope you pick well in round 2 then.

Sorry your best players are getting too old apart from TY

clotswarrior is in somewhat of denial. Excuse him.

Here is the bottom line fellas...

If you are in the AFCS and you intentionally tank for the #1 pick, ..... at the end of the day, it isn't gonna workout for you.

I'm sure in the 2022 NFL draft, the Indianapolis clots will draft Johnny Utah from Ohio State, and that won't work out either because of a bad knee.

Me too. In fact, I hope we pick great in rounds 2-7!

Also, stroudcrowd, you're just a troll and it's becoming increasingly obvious. Stating the Colts missed on Luck is laughable.

tough game for the clots, don't really fault Luck. The clots defense can't stop anything, while defense might not win championships anymore you have to at least slow the other team down.

asking Luck and clots offense to score 40+ points every game just isn't a winning formula. As a Jag fan I hope they don't figure that out and continue to waste 1st round picks on players like Richardson.
