There were rumors that Mularkey needed both wins. This is ugly enough to get him canned. And Mariota seems to have regressed.

Smith is not elite, their best player got knocked out of the game, and they spent the whole second half playing not to lose.

The Chiefs ARE inept in the playoffs (Well, I think it may be alot on Andy Reid too. He went all those years in Philly losing three straight NFCC games , all at home IIRC, until they finally squeaked by with a win in the 4th try.)

Anyway, Chiefs have lost a record 5 or 6 straight home playoff games.

They choked away a big lead this year. And, if you remember, they also choked away a huge lead vs INDY in a playoff game just a few seasons back.

Hey, they're not as bad as an 0-7 Marvin Lewis/Bengals playoff team. But, they're not far off that either.
