Dante Fowler has quietly had a good season

#1

Despite the fact when one does a google search his mug shot pops up, he has had a really good season.  8 sacks and 2 FFs.   Fowler is also young at 23 years old.

Fowler was a very raw talent that had a huge upside because of his freak athleticism. We are going to begin to see his production increase as his play time and techniques improve. He is one of the guys I am looking forward to seeing mature as Calais and Malik aren't going to magically get younger.

Decent year but the dude has so much more potential. He has so much speed and decent power. Start using that high motor instead of letting lineman lock him out and whooo boy, look out!

How many plays is he in there? I usually only see him on 3rd down. He rarely hits home but he does get pressure. The last game he got a hand on a Big Ben throw which almost resulted in an INT

The play that put Tyrod out of the game was serious hustle. Fowler was on the ground with an OT on top of him, somehow got up and tackled Tyrod with ferocity.

Fowler is still a year behind bc of that ACL. Next year he will probably have a Yannick type season.

But Yannick though.......beast

Not many. I think during the year Boselli and Prisco commented on the radio show that he was in on like 40% the plays or something ridiculously low. For his playing time... his production is outstanding. Unless there is an injury his playtime will remain the same.

How are you just realizing this is my question.

This year he had 3 more sacks than Beasley.

Last year Beasley had that monster year while DFJ was just ok coming off the ACL.

The question is who is Beasley, the 15 sack guy from last year or the 4 sack guy he's been the other 2 years?
