Allen Robinson Will NOT get Tagged per PFT

Bengals got a 3rd for Whitworth leaving and he signed a 3 year 33.75mil deal. A Rob will get more than that

The last few superbowl winners did not have a #1 re.

I think you should not invest too much in the wr position

Arizona got a 3rd for losing Campbell. Campbell signed a 4 year 60 mil.  I think A Rob will at least get that when Indy, Chi., and SF start the bidding wars

Top 5 needs for me

1. G
2. TE
3. G/C
4. WR
5. CB
It's a combination of contract and performance along with several other factors they don't release. Campbell and Bouye were both all pros with huge deals and got 3rd round picks. Whitworth was an all pro and got a 3rd. Zeitler for instance got a huge deal and only received a 5th.

Russel Okung got a 3rd for his huge deal but he definitely wasn't an all pro. It's an odd formula. Maybe Arob would fetch a 3rd

Agree, I think health will be the only factor in the receiver position. If Hurns, Cole, and Westbrook stay healthy I think we will be good.  Although I would like to draft a guy in the 2nd or 3rd depending what we do with the oline in FA.  I think this might be the first year we see a trade back to get an extra 2nd or 3rd

I don't want to see Robinson go and think it would be a mistake to let him, but we do not need to draft a WR in the 1st round if he leaves. I definitely agree with drafting a WR, but I think the 3rd/4th round would make a lot more sense.

TE and Guard have to seriously be looked at with those first 2 picks imo.

Guards in FA. Gesicki or WR round 1. Round 2 Hurst or WR. Round 3 Ateman.

If the Guards get addressed in FA, I could definitely roll with that my man.

I remain doubtful that a WR at this stage of the draft or lower could provide what a healthy and experienced Allen Robinson could this year.

Though I like Hurns, at $7 million, I'd rather cut him and let Lee walk and keep Robinson, all things being equal.

However, if AR15 doesn't want to be here, or keeping him means a more valuable member of the team leaves, then let him go.

Same. He's the same age as rookies coming in this year too.

The longer he waits on signing the more he gets paid from us/others. He's just had a down year due to awful QB play and a serious knee injury. If I'm on his side of things I'm getting EVERY dollar I can.

I believe our front office wants to keep him and values him more than Lee/Colvin. We have shown we will keep our own top guys and as far as I know Caldwell said we would have signed him mid season if he wasn't injured (could be wrong on that.)

I'd say his contract would be around 14 per year 30/35 guaranteed.  If the "bidding war" starts to turn that into 16 per and 45ish guaranteed then I don't want him.

I am calling it, Robinson will not get 30 million guarenteed or 14 million per a year.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

I could see the team kicking the tires on Sammy Watkins as a vet contingency if Robinson leaves.

Watkins is gonna cost around what Arob will.

A guy who had 600 yards two years straight is gonna get the same contract as ARob? Seems like a lot more hype for Arob tho. Watkins will be a Hurns size signing IMO.

I say Watkins gets around 8 or 9 mil. a year

Why? We are a run first team who went to the AFCC game without him and we have a suspect QB that the coaching staff doesn't trust to throw down the field. We can wait until round 4.

Well they better be ready to franchise Ramsey in a few years because hes been preaching to resign colvin and arob. He'll be angry and not want to stay here is what will happen possibly.

Ramsey might be the best CB in the league and has never been injured. Couldn’t be more different of a situation. Ramsey will be able to name his price tag  ARob has eclipsed 900 yards once in his career

I think A Rob's agent has his value much higher than he is worth.

Let the Niners pay A-Rob $16M. Keep Hurns, draft a great pass-catching TE and a mauler at OG. Run the ball, throw play action passes, play great defense, win Super Bowl.

Alot of people think our offense will regress without him. How is that possible, he didint play last year. He is not our biggest need. TE and OG is. Werent we in the top ten in offense last year? Caldwell and co. even said they were going to fix the offense to go with our D. Trust the process. I for one would take last year over the last 3 with Arob any day!

I agree, I think people are way overreacting to this. We have $30 mil in cap space to do something with and make this team even better where it needs to be

Ok I’m fine with this as long as this means we get to keep Colvin
