Freudian slip? Intentional?? Laughing

If so, nice one. If unintentional, still funny!

Always intentional. The guy will probably destroy the league before he is done.

Gus and company declined doing it last year. Should they consider it this year?
I selvishly want the Jaguars to be on the show because I love watching HBO's take on behind the scenes but if Gus doesnt want it to distract them from the goals (and without them there they only got 4 wins) I wouldnt want it to disrupt progress the team might make during the off/pre season.

I watched last season's "Hard Knock" featuring the Bengals, and the one before that featuring the Dolphins.  For the most part, HBO did a good job at editing to show a more favorable side of the featuring team.  With the exception of the Tebowmania in NY, I'm not sure what the "distraction" is about.

Give me some examples of what Goodell has done for the hate.

Shopping for an extra Thursday night game. Floating the ideas of increasing the number of teams that make the playoffs.

2 bad ideas that weaken the product, it reeks of greed and not thinking about the long term sustained success of the league

My biggest beef with Goodell is watering down the game to basketball on grass. He's completely turned this game into one huge game of "Whos got the best QB"

The owners vote for anything that happens in this league. Goodell is a talking puppet for 32 owners. The hate is blind.

Only a chump boos the home team!

Id really love this. More publicity and a chance to see us on TV. I cant tell you how bad it frustrates me living in MS and the Jags being passed over on TV for a game in California

Get Hard Knocks, sign Hardy and the lineman from Kansas City, draft Clowney, profit. Take an interesting QB like Carr in round 3 or two and enjoy the show. Be honest guys, more attention to this team in this market is a good thing.

He was just an example. He can be replaced with many others.

I couldn't agree more! Heck, I'm right down the road in Panama City Beach (about 5 hours away) & I don't think even one game was aired, aside from night one.

Yes same here! I'd LOVE the team to get more exposure. Plus, I'd absolutely enjoy watching the show, along with the rest of our fan base.

Not sure when the final decision will be made, but my gut says after the draft. If Johnny Manziel ends up here, I think that ups the odds greatly.

Of those 8 teams, I'd like to see Jags the most, but don't think Gus will be for this.

I would think that HBO would want a bigger market team, or a team with more nationally recognizable players. It's all about the ratings for them.
