So what's 'not too early'?  9:00ish?  I'll get us a time as soon as I'm allowed.  You can only go seven days in advance.

I'll see if I get get with NYC.  If we can't get a board member I can certainly find somebody to fill in the 4th slot.

Are we all 60 or over?  I know two of us are.

I am over 60, I putt with my walker.

Googled it, looks like 1:14 to get there so maybe 9:30-9:45 tee time would get me there for the breakfast.

I've never gotten the breakfast but they have a nice choice for lunch. It's not some hot dog and chips thing.

Did I mention two free beers?

I sent an email to NYC.

Meh, I'm not scared of him.  He's just a musician.

Wait, let me take that back.  I'm scared to death of him if I'm on the right hand side of the fairway and he's hitting.   Ninja

Go ahead and make your jokes, geezers.

I can out drive all of you by twenty yards...

...laterally.

I've had a mean slice lately too but tamed it down a little bit in my last round.

I'm looking forward to this one.

You fellas are putting up promotions to the course that apply to people over double my age LOL.

Lets get a forth and get some teams rolling lol.

You youngsters should put away the geezers pretty easily. We may need a nap after 9 holes so be ready for a long day.

Not fooled that easily sir. my father  in-law has smoked me every time except for one in the last ten years.(I like to say i let him win but i honestly don't.)

One of my favorite stories was at jax beach when i went out  play by my self and was paired with a much older gentleman from New Mexico who had two knee surgeries and was just out for a day on the course. i out drove him on every hole and with just about every club. grandpa was straight and as consistent as they come. When the round was we shook hands i asked him what he shot expecting to have a decent lead because i shot lower 90's(which i was proud of considering i had had a few to drink.) 84... he got me by six strokes and had the ugliest swing i had seen in a while(this was pre Charles Barkley melt down).

needless say. i don't expect to win or even be close, but i have learned that the only person in golf you are playing against is yourself. Some times i will drop a decent low 80's round and then ill follow that up with a barley breaking 100 round.... I'm the real definition of consistency.

Man i want to play Augusta so bad. That is one of the things about picking a hobby that has a big demographic of rich older people; there are going to be a few things us normal folks just can't do lol.

What is funny to me is the "Unknown" aspect of those places like pablo creek and augusta. Like- Is the course really that much nicer than anything ive ever played? or Are there like topless cart girls running around that we don't know about? I've played Doral, the stadium at sawgrass, scottsdale, and pebble beach. And honestly I was little let down. It wasn't that i didn't have a great time or that they were in bad shape. It was more that the notoriety of the course and the image that i had built up in my head was never going to be able to live up to what i imagined. At the end of the day they were all still courses. But i also understand that the money we are talking about those people spending is absolutely nothing to them.

New life goal-  Get a membership at augusta... Right after i buy a that mega yacht to park next to my buddy Mr.Khan.

I was lucky enough to play Pablo Creek a couple years ago through a connection from my mother in law. The place is incredible. They had a stimp reading on the practice green and they were running a 14 that day. Fastest greens I have ever personally played on.

The course has zero houses on and the 9th hole on the water was incredible.

I think we all are  Wallbash . I played well twice last week (alone, using my advanced (haha) scoring system), then yesterday threw in a clunker at Cimarrone with the boys- first 6 were decent, 2nd 6 were bad, last 6 just OK.
