Not to say he can't get close but: If Bortles is better than just the guys you listed, it should be a great year for the team. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Is it a stretch to say he'll move up 2 spots? Even if you don't like QBR, he was middle of the road in most categories and was the best QB in the league for a good 3 weeks in December. Its possible, and I hope he does.

My prediction is Bortles is going to repeat as a 3 time superbowl mvp while going to the hall of fame.

I don't like QBR either, but I know a lot do. I've started multiple threads about how it's a joke. By most other metrics, he was middle of the pack. So I firmly believe he can elevate his game to that next level.

Blake might be on the cusp of getting back on the NFL's Top 100 list. He really looks like a guy that took the last game personally and spent the last 3 months getting healthier and fine tuning his game. Avoid the bad decision making and it could be a great year from Bortles.
No pain, no gain.

I agree but I think it's more so because he knows that all the pressure is on him and if the team falls short of expectations the blame game is on his doorstep. The bottom line is he needs to do everything he can to put this team in the best position to win games. ![]()
This is great to see. I get the feeling the surgery and confidence from last year will carry over. The throws look crisp. No wasted wind up uneasy motions. Combine that with having a season with the same offense and an upgraded line I think he's ready to lead this team to the promised land.
No pain, no gain.

He'll rarely be facing any pressure through camp anyway. If we want to wait until the pads are on, might as well wait until pre-season/week 1 to comment.
