You all need to do a little searching outside your insulated boxes. There was a lot of backlash against Obama after he was elected. Of course, that was probably fake news to those who have been dutifully Trumpified.

Yeah, that's a leftest group that was strangely silent for 8 years. What about Occupy Democrats, oh yeah, they were silent for 8 years too. Occupy Wall Street https://g.co/kgs/Rn4xBV It was mostly that yes. There was a vocal and more informed minority there who simply said that an institution which is too-big-to-fail should be broken up into smaller institutions that compete with each other. You know as our ancestors back in the 1890s figured out. In any case there were plenty of protesters out and about during the Obama administration so your initial point was wrong.

There's only been one instance of deadly political violence since Trump was inaugurated, in which a right winger tried to run of a group of left wingers with his car. So if it's one-sided, (it's not) you seem to be blaming the wrong side. Right, because the guy who shot up the congressional baseball practice after confirming it was the republicans on the field, he wasn't perpetrating an act of "deadly political violence", right? That one wasn't even blamed on the gun by libs. I understand why you're completely ignoring it because you can't fit it into a leftist narrative. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

(2) only the perp died, so, not sure if it fits in the category (3) maybe we shouldn't have elected a person who never backs down from inflaming things further. Go back to archival footage of men who calmed real tough situations. Look what Bush 41 said during the LA riots. Can you imagine Trump saying similar things? I can't.

Yes, it's always Trump's fault that lefties shoot congresspersons. Sure there was a lot of grumbling among people who were dissappointed, but there wasn't anywhere near the level of violence and hate we're seeing by liberals since Trump took office. Most republicans said their piece and then went about with their daily lives for the next four years. Nobody was advocating civil war, suggesting Obama should be assassinated, shooting at Democrats in office, or telling White House staffers they're not welcome to eat at their restaurant.
