Absolute stud, so excited we got him. What an incredible draft that was!

Yea, the Jaguars 2016 draft class could eventually be ranked in the all-time top 10, maybe even top 5. It is way too early to know for sure, but if the top 3 picks can stay healthy for most of their careers they have to be part of this discussion. As of now, my rankings would be:

1. 1974 Steelers- No other draft class had 4 eventual HOF players- Swann, Lambert, Stallworth and Webster. Enough said.

2. 1965 Bears- Butkus and Sayers were both taken in the 1st round. 

3. 1996 Ravens- Ogden and Ray Lewis, also both in round 1. 

Other classes deserving consideration are the 1985 Bills ( Bruce Smith and Andre Reed) and the Packers draft which landed several NFL greats including Jim Taylor and Jerry Kramer. 

Rankings like this are very subjective, but still fun to do. I say the ceiling for this class would be 2nd of all-time, right behind the Steelers. In order for that to happen, all 3 must stay relatively injury-free and lead the team to multiple playoff wins- including a Super Bowl victory.

Yea I'm using chrome. I rarely test them because they never work/only when somebody posts up a vid here.

The last time it worked for me was when the top 100 list was going on. I was able to watch our Jags player's top 100 videos, but nothing has worked since.

I could tell it was the GMF crew by the voices. They have been giving a lot of hype to the Jags this off season. I listened to it, because I know it's just them sitting at a table for the most part, but it still annoys the crap out of me because I know it's a video lol.

Edit: Actually now that I think about it, I watched our Jags' top 100 players on the NFL's youtube page because their site wouldn't work then lol.

The Jags also post most of them on twitter and I will watch them there. With zero problems I might add. It's become a running joke in the O'zone. I cannot imagine that the Jags are any to pleased with the situation as the website clicks were already minimal but had been gaining strength. Now, as Eric stated, I go to read a couple articles rarely and the O'zone. That's about it. Very rarely go to NFL.com.

For those that have issues trying to play videos from either the official site or NFL.com, try temporarily disabling your ad blocker.  I had the same issues and when I paused my ad blocker they all worked fine.  I do use the Chrome browser along with Firefox on a Linux system, and it seems to have resolved my problem.

Yea I tried disabling the ad blocker as well, still didn't work. As Jagwired said, the Jags posted the video on their twitter and it worked perfectly. Agreed the thread is getting off topic...


In previous videos, Kay Adams has said that Yannick is her favorite player this season. Peter Schrager has said that he thinks Yannick is the most underrated player on this team and doesn't get enough credit around the league.

Of course they had nothing but good things to say about him in the video NYC posted. They talked about how they think he's going to be force this season and I think we'd all agree.

Personally, I have him right at 15.

That would break the franchise record, and probably win him defensive player of the year for the AFC. Depending on how other players play it could have him in the DPOTY award.

I was laughed at because I told people that Yannick was our best draft pick in 2016. Although Ramsey has turned out to be the best CB in the NFL and Myles Jack is nothing short of great, I'm still sticking by what I said back then. IMO, Ngakoue was the best player we drafted. If nothing else, simply for the value of finding him in the 3rd round. The guy is a beast and he's my favorite player on the team.

I remember three or four posters hyping Ngakoue here when he was picked. I liked the pick, then loved it quickly after reading/watching the links posted by his supporters. 

Im sure a few scoffed at that “best pick” statement but I’m sure I didn’t. 

He’s certainly exceeded my expectations- even though I felt great about his potential.

I didn’t know much about MD football program other than they sucked really bad, but Yann was a guy who consistently stood out in games. I knew he’d be good, a 10 sack a year type of player, but I honestly see him going for 16 plus this year and making a serious run at DPOTY.
