Romo must love the easy job of being a broadcaster because imo he would probably be a great QB coach or OC. He has legit football IQ
Jaguars Fundamentalist
The guys who have really struggled today(other than Bortles/oline) and for most of the season are our older guys.
Mayor of Sacksonville looks rough....he is our most rotated Dlineman and he lays on the ground early in the game and does not get good pressure. Taven Bryan doesn't get alot of pressure either but he is a rookie and plays well against the run. Barry Church, we all know he is our weak spot on our defense and I always thought Strong Safties are supposed to be good at open field tackling and well that is Church's worst attribute, look forward to seeing Gipson and Harrison next year. Lastly, Jeremy Parnell, did he play today or did we just get some fat guy from the stands? Like good god he has probably given up AT LEAST 20 pressures single handedly. Glad we drafted Richardson and hopefully he turns into something or we will have to draft another RT or move Robinson over and draft a LT. These guys have been great for us and a large part of what we have done as a team but so far this year when we play a good team(TEN & KC) these 3 are consistently not making plays or hurting us. Next year we know cap space is tight and by cutting these 3 it saves $26 million. It is encouraging that our front office recognized this last year in the draft and we have potential replacements from all these spots.
I’m going bold but our pass rush has been brutal, ya sure they get some pressure but really they are always out of reach, very few meaningful sacks. QBs are always able to step up or roll out. The defence could definitely do more.
Offensively I just don’t know, we are so Jekyll and Hyde. I’m a pro Bortles fan, but today was embarrassing.
