Blake was getting abused back there all day. These OL injuries are a huge problem. The injuries in general are crazy...I think we are a very good team which is apparently an unpopular opinion on this board now, but man the crazy amount of injuries will make it very tough on us moving forward.

Fournette would have absolutely abused them. Yeldon was killing them too but the Jags stopped running.

And that's what that Chiefs D is built for, teams endlessly passing playing catch up. They are pass rush and DB's basically. 

They seem to have no faith in Wilds so it's poor Yeldon every down and he can't do that.

I think he can if he's not hurt, and I think he could have (should have)  taken a lot more carries in the first half of that game.

When we're 7-2 after beating the Cowboys (awful) Texans (worse OL than ours) Eagles (London advantage) and Colts (No explanation needed). It'll be hilarious to come back here and see all the "sky is falling" "How much do we lose by cutting Blake right now?" posts. 

Take a look around at the NFL and especially the AFC. I'd love to hear how we're anything less than 2nd best in the AFC right now. And we know what Andy Reid teams do once January rolls around...

100% agree, no point being shot in December. Plus look how many overtime games there have been so far, the league is pretty close this year, the playoff Wildcards will be brutal.

100% agree, no point being shot in December. Plus look how many overtime games there have been so far, the league is pretty close this year, the playoff Wildcards will be brutal.

Yeah it's been an interesting five weeks so far in the NFL. By the end of this month though I think the true play-off contenders will begin to assert themselves and separate themselves from the rest of the pack. My concern is the long term healthiness on the offense. We can't take too many more hits there.

Actually we held a team averaging 35 points or more per game to 20 points 10 were form Turnovers. The Def did not play well and at times looked bad but the chiefs are a good team.

OH the turnovers killed us absolutely, plus the timing of them killed any momentum. That 2nd Q was the ballgame. It should be fixable and Blake sadly has those games. 

This O isn't built to come back from 3 scores down, we need to get ahead and add what we can here and there and have the D hold them under 17.

I think we ride Blake till we are out of the playoffs. He is the only thing going on for our offense right now (with our receivers, of course). We need Blake to take a step, and I feel like hes almost there. He has not quite finished yesterday, but he was driving us up and down the field. Just got to get that last bit and we will win.
