How can one break a stat? Isn't whatever you did to "break" it, in and of itself a statistic as well?

Ahmad Dixon's name keeps popping up positively, from weigh ins to now.

I love Dixon.  I had him as my 3rd best safety behind Joyner and Exum a month ago, but he may be rising to #1 on my board.  He's very physical.  He had a great bowl game and if reports are true about his play so far in the senior bowl, then he may crack the 1st round.

Virginia Tech QB Logan Thomas: Thomas has driven scouts crazy with his erratic play over the past two seasons, but it's possible that he might have enjoyed the best day of any quarterback on either roster. He delivered the ball with excellent velocity and zip in drills and looked like a confident passer from the pocket. Additionally, Thomas flashed timing and anticipation on a handful of throws in 7-on-7 that showcased his potential as a passer in a pro-style offense. Now, the impressive showing will not erase the two seasons of bad film put up by Thomas, but it could entice a team in need of a developmental prospect to take a chance on a 6-6, 254-pound athlete with intriguing physical tools.

 

Wyoming WR Robert Herron: Herron opened eyes in the scouting community with his speed, quickness and route-running skills. He was untouchable in 1-on-1 drills against big, physical corners, showing exceptional burst and separation quickness. In addition, Herron used a variety of stems and releases to stack defenders at the top of the route to create separation with hard plants and head fakes. Herron's surprising polish as a route runner took me by surprise based on his reputation as a speed demon. If he continues to impress as a slot receiver with big-play ability, Herron could make a huge jump on the boards heading into the NFL combine and pro-day workouts.

I would hope that Sammy Watkins had the lowest pct of drops since most of his catches are short passes. 

 

That number is really impressive for Mike Evans though since he's a much more balanced WR in terms of his types of catches and how they are all spread out pretty evenly.

True, but it also means he doesn't have as many drop opportunities since he is usually making contested catches, and they don't really give out drops to contested balls that aren't caught. You have to be pretty wide open for a drop to be counted as a drop, and he doesn't create the separation for a whole lot of wide open catches.

Is the above tweet from a Jaguars-biased, err based reporter, or is it from a national guy? If its the latter, it will hold more credence. 

 

The most important thing is Bradley and Caldwell getting proper evaluation here of the players, not some cheerleader piece about Bradley running a "fun" practice. I mean, sure it sounds nice and all....just saying for people to keep some proper focus here on the important stuff.

Wouldn't be opposed to this. He has all of the tools needed to be a good qb so I'd be fine spending a late rounder on him.
