(This post was last modified: 01-21-2014, 05:41 PM by KYjaggy.)

After being the only two yesterday, Carr and Matthews are joined by Cody Hoffman after practice to work on routes and timing today.

I feel like Garopollo has so much upside. Like his floor his a much more polished Mike Glennon. I'm getting the same vibe I did when I first watched Nick Foles.

lolz Nick Foles....

I can't wait until Foles comes crashing back to average next year.

Jean-Baptiste appears to be the best of the big, Gus mold DBs so far. Jaylen Watkins maybe the best corner overall so far.

Chris Smith got several accolades for his pass rushing. Dee Ford continues to be the best by a good margin.

Abbrederis took a step forward along with Huff. Those two join Matthews and Herron as the WR stars so far.

Aaron Donald was good but had a step back today, mostly going against Tyler Larsen the nice Utah St. C prospect. Donald thoroughly dominated Cyril Richardson yesterday.

Trent Murphy took a noticeable step back too. Looks like a beast but struggled with bend at DE and speed at OLB...might be an awkward tweener like Andre Branch.

Van Noy is proving me wrong, as I had him outside my top 15 pass rushers. He looks like a good SLB fit with the ability to do a good bit of pass rushing as well as covering and stacking up against the run. Nice overall versatile package but doesn't knock your socks off anywhere.

I'm sure you hope, I mean can't wait until that happens

however, if/when it does happen, I'd have to consider Kelly just an average coach since he couldn't get Foles to overacheive like he did the previous year

I think as long as he plays in this Chip Kelly offensive system I don't know if he will put up average numbers anytime soon.

I'm sure Foles will still put up inflated TD totals....but the anomalously low INT number is correcting itself next season.

Figured I'd post some of Schrager's notes since I know many on here respect him a lot.

5 Senior Bowl Takeaways from today... 1. Derek Carr belongs in Bortles-Bridgewater-Manziel conversation too. Total package out there.

P. Schrager ‏@PSchrags14m
2. Ra'Shede Hageman is a no brainer first round pick. Dominated.

P. Schrager ‏@PSchrags13m
3. Jordan Matthews (Vandy WR) looked very fluid out there. One scout said early 2nd round is fair assessment.

4. Clowney is the big talk among executives, not Manziel. Clowney-Watt is a scary--and quite possible--duo.

That's what I was thinking, too. No tale is without spin.

It's a once in a lifetime pairing. I can't imagine them not pulling the trigger.

Trade for Mallet and Clowney in the first. Draft a QB in the mid-rounds for insurance. Sounds like a plan.

And yet, if they don't find a franchise QB they will continue to be one and done in the playoffs at best.

Isn't the fact that Clowney is actually there in person increase the likelihood of them talking about it? Why would they bring up Manziel if he's not even there.

Not saying they don't love Clowney, but some reporter hearing people talk about Clowney all day is probably due to him being there (when he wasn't supposed to be there) whereas Manziel wasn't and isn't there.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think the Jags will be liking what they see. His arm is looking weaker than we thought even. Sad cause I do like almost all of his game, but if you can't get the velocity on the ball if the conditions aren't perfect (clean pocket & good weather) you can't be a franchise QB. Gotta be have the arm to win bad weather winter playoff games if you want to win a super bowl.

I honestly dont care what people say. I go by what I see. Tajh Boyd is good. Jimmy G is not.

Mike Mayock just said on NFLN that Boyd did a nice job. ?????

This Packers scout doesnt know his elbow from his [BLEEP].

I go by what I see as well and Tajh Boyd is a project much more than Jimmy G.

The Gus Factor strikes again!

@LRiddickESPN: Very evident that the South Team DB's made big improvements in their man coverage technique over yesterday
