Yep and by the time we find our own air raid QB and a coach that can run the jet sweep offense... the fad will have moved back to power football and defense #becausejaguars

His only chance is the fact he has Brees who is a top 5 QB of all time. Didn't Cooper lead the league in drops a year ago? Demaryius is absolutely nothing like he was before and Tate is a 30 year old slot receiver. You just discredited all of those guys. But they are all of a higher talent than what we have here other than Dede. And its not like teams gave up the farm to get these guys other than Cooper, which IMO was a horrible decision by the Cowgirls. I didn't say that was the #1 issue, but in the scheme of things when you already traded for Hyde and you aren't getting any other LTs from anyone else, the best thing you can do is help your QB if you expect him to throw it 40, 50, and 60 times a game. That's just common sense. And I know any of those guys aren't world beaters but they would draw attention in coverage allowing those who catch the ball such as Westbrook and sometimes Chark to be a little more open quicker for Blake to get them the ball. But I love the fact that you guys just know it all.

LOL
Yes, SF and Kane. I can't disagree on either speculation, unfortunately. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Demaryius is absolutely nothing like he was before and Tate is a 30 year old slot receiver. Never claimed to know it all. Just talking football here. I don't agree with your opinion. That's all. I think this team is praying to all things Holy Blake won't throw it more than 30-35 times in any game ever actually. They doubled down on the run because they know they have to mitigate the QB mistakes - and they felt they were missing Fournette badly enough - they had to go get Hyde. Could they have tried a different approach? Sure. It requires putting a lot of eggs in the Bortles basket though, and they clearly felt unsteady doing that. Hard to blame them given his rollercoaster season.

Now he is throwing in these games to WRs who: 1. Arent really trying, just getting paid. 2. Drops the ball. 3. Catches the ball but immediately fumbles it. It doesn't requires putting a lot of eggs in the Bortles basket, it requires them to provide him with another target if they're going to ask him to throw so much. Look at what he has been working with: Moncrief- No effort Westbrook -Reliable Cole- Drops/Fumbles Chark- Drops/ Some catches Greene- DNP Barnidge (If I spelled it right) - I don't even know. The bulldozer kid- IDK When you look at it like that, you're telling me adding a WR is putting a lot of eggs in the Bortles basket? IMO, that's just attempting to help your team succeed on the field.
