I still think that the FO finds a way to trade Bortles off this off-season somehow (Blaine Gabbert being exhibit A). I'm not sure how they will do it, but it's a gut feeling.
In my opinion I think that for the remainder of this season he (Bortles) is the better option. Kessler is just another less mobile Bortles that happens to throw a spiral. However, I don't think Kessler will hold up getting hit as well as Bortles. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
Your delusional if you think Bortles will be on the roster next year. He will either be traded or released.
