Spitting Into the Wind

#41

Marrone lost me back in week 7. When he publicly declared the QB job was open and that they needed a spark on offense. Within 24 hours. He declares Bortles the starter leading up to the Eagles game in London. This was a game against a coach that took public and open jabs at him in his book. And he was spot [BLEEP] on.

He left no strategy or guess work for the Eagles that week. He could have had them trying to figure out who it was going to be. But he couldn't stick with his instincts. And then, to make matters worse. Just 5 weeks later. When they were at 3 - 4 back in week 7. He [BLEEP] fires Hackett, and THEN decides it's time to move on from Bortles and start Kessler with a [BLEEP] CFL QB coach in his first year in the NFL trying to be an OC.

Just dumb. [BLEEP] dumb. My biggest gripe. He's an offensive line coach. That's supposed to be his forte. His bread and butter. There's really no adjustments being made. We continue to see the same bland and boring [BLEEP] right up the middle every week in the ground game. If we're to believe this guy at one point was pegged as the OC for NOLA's one and only SB victory. Where the [BLEEP] is the creativity?

Better yet. If you're so concerned with the results. Why leave it up to an inexperienced coordinator in Milanovich? Why don't YOU take over the [BLEEP] play calling then? I just don't get him. And we're risking a lot by keeping him here another year.

The same Bears that lost to the Giants the week before? No one is saying defense can't win you games in the NFL. Obviously it can. But can it win you 4 games in a row, all against playoff caliber teams? That I am skeptical about.
