Comparing the top 4 QBs in this year's draft w/graphics

Quote:Actually, I am refering to a quote from Greg Cosell in an interview I just listened to minutes ago, so if I am plagiarizing, then so are you. LOL... if you can learn how to search, I've stated that here for years. It's not a concept I'd expect you to understand, given your history.

Quote:The biggest surprise to me was Bridgewater outperforming Manziel during blitz and pressure situations. Not in my opinion. He has some of the best pocket presence I have ever seen at the collegiate level. I'm not surprised.
About Carr, does anyone know of a QB w/o pocket presence who picked it up once they were in the league? I really don't know if that has happened or not.

Quote:Not in my opinion. He has some of the best pocket presence I have ever seen at the collegiate level. I'm not surprised. 80% completion pct when blitzed this season. Quote:Good read. Was surprised that Manziel under pressure and blitz measures were not higher. I gained more respect for Bortles after seeing the charts, and further cemented my desire for Bridgewater of the 4. Probably cuz he spent most of his time running 20 yards down the field when teams would blitz him. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Quote:I think that was a knock on Eli his first few years in the league. Eli played clutch in the playoffs/ SB, so he'll get props for that, but Eli is not an elite QB. He's barely even a very good one. He's essentially Joe Flacco.
Quote:About Carr, does anyone know of a QB w/o pocket presence who picked it up once they were in the league? I really don't know if that has happened or not. A lot of guys have picked it up over their careers, but I don't think any team actually has the patience to start a guy 4 or 5 years if he's as bad as Gabbert or (apparently) Carr. Quote:theyve got 3 super bowl wins between them. we could do a lot worse. While true, that doesn't mean that this guy will duplicate that aspect. (clutch in NFL) Quote:While true, that doesn't mean that this guy will duplicate that aspect. (clutch in NFL) Well Flacco didnt show much clutch ability at the end of the regular season this year. I dont really buy "clutch". I think the question shouldnt be is the guy clutch, the question should be can this guy be good enough from time to time. As we've seen with wilcard teams winning Super Bowls, the best team doesnt win the Super Bowl. Its the team that gets hot at the right time. Same for QBs. Best QB doesnt always win. But a lot of times the guy who plays the best that day does win. Sure you'd like to get Brady, but thats pure luck. Sure you'd like to get a Peyton, but he is a once a decade draft prospect. If you told me we would walk away from this draft with a guy as good as Flacco, I would take that tomorrow. Maybe Flacco has is ups and downs. However Flacco has proven he can play good enough to win it all. Maybe he wont be able to carry his team to the playoffs every year the way Peyton and Brady can, but there are few who can. And to expect we'll end up with Brady or Peyton is setting oneself up for disappointment. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. He's a true student of the game
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.
Quote:Because he changes the play. He's a true student of the game I agree....so why wouldn't people want that here?? Quote:I agree....so why wouldn't people want that here?? I think the question you should be asking is why don't the Texans want that there?

Quote:I think the question you should be asking is why don't the Texans want that there? I think the Texans still take him at 1 barring a substantial offer to trade down. But Jax fans like pirk should still want a QB like Teddy here, or hope he falls to our pick. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:I think the question you should be asking is why don't the Texans want that there?Jadaveon Clowney lol The boy is a freak
Quote:I think the Texans still take him at 1 barring a substantial offer to trade down. Im hoping they go for the "safer" on the freak athlete in Clowney Quote:But Jax fans like pirk should still want a QB like Teddy here, or hope he falls to our pick. I know you're desperately seeking validation, but you don't need mine to support your opinion. Have some stones and stand behind yours for once. It shouldn't matter to you that I don't subscribe. Just don't flop on it like you do most of the others this time. I, unlike you, can admit it if I turn out to be wrong.
