He's about 20 lbs lighter than Freeney and 15 pounds lighter than Dumervil. Those guys were considered smaller for DEs. Spot on with the Irvin comparison. Dude has a quick first step and has flashed against some top talent. If he has a solid game today, he may crack the top 20. I assume 3-4 DEFs will drool for a guy like this, but I could see him as a LEO.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I'm pretty sure he's the same size as Robert Mathis.

I really wish we could get Cleveland's second first rounder. Clowney at 4, this guy at 26, and Garoppolo at 39 = amazing draft.

I know he is quick, but I wonder how his speed overall is. Leo is a perfect fit for him, but id also hope we could turn him into a more versatile player and put him at OLB too. Keeping him and a more improved Branch on the field at the same time during passing downs could be sick. If we somehow luck up ans get Clowney in the first..wow. 3rd downs with Branch (again, assuming he improves even further with another season under Gus) Clowney and Ford...im drooling and lost in wishful thought

Quote:Elvis Dumervil was considered short too.... and he was a first-round pick. Man, I wish he was able to stay in Denver.
Quote:Wasn't You must have him confused with somebody else. I remember thinking their first round pick should have been a cornerback, not a defensive end. He has the only two sacks in the game right now

Gotta think we would love to draft him after how good he has been all week and in this game. Bradley sure seems to enjoy watching him. Just a matter of Ford being there for our 2nd round pick. And if so, did we draft a QB in the first round? Cuz if not, we go that direction instead of Ford.

Forget about Clowney. We need to get a quarterback at #3, not two pass rushers.
