All of those injuries to the OL put the Jaguars in a precarious spot this draft.

How much draft capital do you spend on the OL?

Do you retain Cann and/or Parnell?  If so, do you try to upgrade them or draft for depth?  If not, is drafting their replacements sufficient, or do you add depth on top of that?

Do you gamble they will all be healthy next year, and focus on improving the depth?

When do you start drafting OL?  What about the needs at skill positions at WR and TE?

Does your answer differ depending on whether we sign Foles or go after Haskins?

To me, I don't see much sense in coming out of this draft with fewer than 3 OLs-one or more in the early rounds, one or more in the mid rounds, and one or more in the late rounds.

It's funny (in a morbid kind of way) that most of the guys on offense who stayed healthy last year had their reputation destroyed while the ones who got injured get almost a free pass to go into next season without being slammed. AJ Cann was the last man standing on the OL, gets labelled the weak link, Keelan Cole healthy the whole year, reputation down the drain, Blake... No comment needed. Whereas players like Lee and Linder and Norwell get a pass to the next season with few questions asked. Not saying it's wrong in any of those cases, but sometimes getting injured can actually save you from a sinking ship...

I'm in a discussion on the Divisional board about that very issue.

I agree other players' reps were tarnished because the OL got injured and they couldn't play to their strengths (Cole and Chark).

But I can't blame the OL, either.  Cam Robinson had a guy fall on his leg while he was in pass protection, as I recall.  How could he prevent that?

Most injuries aren't preventable, you just hope that you get lucky and don't have many. That's why the overreaction on this board last season is so absurd, what team that had to start 16 different linemen in the same year would be any kind of decent? I struggle with criticism of Chark as well; he was a rookie playing on a bad team, what did people expect that they were so disappointed?
