Dems in the Senate did sign off on a fence in 2006, but by 2015 we found out they didn't intend to follow through with all the money that would need.
Before Trump entered the arena, the positions were, "finish the fence as promised" vs. "forget about the fence, what we have is good enough"

The Fair Tax was a tax reform intended to be revenue neutral.  There was math behind it.  Eliminate this tax, but make this other new tax, same revenue.
Trump did not propose any new or increased taxes to make up for the lowered corporate rate.

So, to serve as POTUS isn't serving the country? Not that I think any POTUS in recent memory has actually served this country in the way they are meant to, but the position of President is in fact to serve the country. I can't stand Trump but he did give up a lot to be POTUS. I
