Could Bridgewater be...?

#1

"I'm always skeptical when evaluating players who have received a ton of hype, but I was pleasantly surprised by Bridgewater's overall game. Possessing a quick release and an underrated arm allows Bridgewater to easily make every NFL throw with zip and precision when his footwork is on. "

"Excellent football intelligence helped him to be consistently productive against the blitz as he was able to identify where the rush was coming from, make the appropriate read and get rid of the ball quickly and on the mark to the correct receiver. Not only did his accuracy help him to make big plays, but it also made him be a much more efficient passer"

" Even though some reports claim that NFL teams are also concerned about Bridgewater's general physique, numerous scouts I have spoken to are not worried about this and feel that he will add weight and fill out as most players do once they are in the NFL. "

If at best Bridgewater becomes "peak"(2005) Hasselbeck, how pleased would you be?

I'd be ecstatic.

That's 65% comp, 3/1 td to int ratio, 7.1 yds/comp.

Edit-Why Hasselbeck?

I've been racking my brain trying to find a qb that had good, but not gray mobility and a good, but not great arm.

Hey, he went to a Super Bowl so that would be awesome!

There's plenty of other threads out there to over rate Bridgewater in. Do we really need another one?

That's a really fair comparison, the more I think about it. When Hasselbeck was dialed in, he was very effective. The hope, obviously, is that Bridgewater can maintain that dialed in part for a longer period of time.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Sure we do. He's Teddy's main squeeze.

Pretty much this.

Decommitted Miami when he got butthurt about Shannon being fired, then joined his friend at Louisville where they'd go on to have a cakewalk.

There's so much to be concerned with behind all the smoke and mirrors.  Beware those who would suggest you ignore the man behind the curtain.

And that's why his stock is indeed falling.

How has his stock fallen???

The only difference is that Bortles and Manziel's stock have risen, unreasonably so.

If Bridgewater is overrated than what are Bortles and Manziel?

These are former NFL scouts with connections, nothing indicates his stock is falling

Butthurt about Shannon being fired?  If so, then he wasn't the only one.  Other players also decommitted from Miami afterwards.  Perhaps there's more to it than him being 'butthurt'.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Pirks, I don't get your beef Bridgewater

Drop it, drop the curtain, tell us how you really feel.

I'm guessing he's a Canes fan upset that Bridgewater decided to decommit.
