Both sides are trying to make plays. Celebrate them all. Harrison intercepted Foles yesterday

Exactly. It’s a good sign if both sides are making plays. You can start panicking if it becomes a recurring theme and one side is routinely beating the other side.

Yeah that's true. Harrison's INT was in a red zone drill though that's way different than trying to make him your deep safety.

Quentin Meeks is a promising undrafted cornerback that the Jags signed last year.

He showed flashes of very good coverage last year playing outside in spot duty when a starter was injured.
He seems to have a knack for jumping routes and getting hands on the ball, though catching it is another story at times for him.

There were a few pundits that found it odd he wasn't drafted.

His father, Ron Meeks was a coach in the NFL from 1991-2010. Ron attended Lee high school in Jacksonville before going on to Ark. State and then the CFL.

McCardell on receivers group:

Quote:“It’s a mixed bag for me,” he said. “I’ve got a little size. I’ve got small guys with great quickness, small guys that can make people miss, small guys who can play big, big guys who can play small and big guys who can play big.

“We’ve got a quarterback who likes the group, too, so that’s really good.”
...

McCardell said time with Foles during OTAs has benefitted the group.

“It’s great because he’s explaining what he wants, how he wants it: ‘Did you see coverage that I saw?’’’ McCardell said. “That helps a young receiver. It helps the group because everyone’s listening when Nick’s talking to one receiver. The next time he gets in with Nick, he’ll understand what Nick’s thinking and they’re on the same page.

“Being a great receiver-quarterback tandem is about being on the same page. If I’m on Page 10 and the quarterback’s on Page 50, we’re going to have a bad reading. We’ve just got to be on the same page, and once we get on the same page, it clicks.

“I’m looking forward to it. I think they’re receptive to what Nick’s telling them and they understand it’s for the best of the offense.”

Marqise Lee, Myles Jack, Ronnie Harrison and Dede Westbrook all in attendance today.

Each have previously missed at least one day of voluntary work (or team rehab.)

 - Allen was emphasized and re-emphasized as nothing but a bruise.

 - Williams returned to practice the next day and recorded an INT in drills.

 - Armstead may have nothing more than a cramp for all we know right now.

Let's not get all worked up there, Chicken Little.
