Welp, I've seen enough. We saw good things in Minshew and competition at WR. Hayes looks to be a roster addition in the secondary.

On the downside, we are scary thin at OT, need to coach up on tackling, and too many penalties.

Atleast we got some points. That was a pathetic attempt to block by Ijalana (i think?).... but that drive was looking good.

Minshew on the last two plays had open receivers. Both touchdowns if he had seen it.

Do other teams have this problem with back up O line depth? Theres a shortage league wide of quality starters but we never seem to get a lucky break with the guys we bring in.

Other teams have a big dropoff in play from the starters to the backups, especially at OT, but our dropoff is like falling off the Sears Tower. The thing that makes it even worse, is that our starting OT's aren't world beaters either.

In past years, the offensive schemes did a poor job to hide weak links on the line.  On top of that, Mercedes has been the best blocking TE they have had the past few years. He is pretty good, but not good enough to hide those issues.

Hoping Defilippo has some ability to better set up some easy runs. Foles also seems to be his best with pre-snap reads, so hoping he makes it easier on the line with blocking assignments and quick reads.
