Jadeveon Clowney

Quote:I have seen most of his games If the play is going away from him, there's no need to double or triple team him. Clowney changes offenses. They must account for him. That opens opportunities for others to make plays. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:If the play is going away from him, there's no need to double or triple team him. Clowney changes offenses. They must account for him. That opens opportunities for others to make plays. No doubt, I am not arguing that. Question is, who is going to put up the points?
i understand the importance of qb but i would rather we took a dead cert at de than a half chance at qb, especially right now when we are probably 2 drafts away from contention even if caldwell hits on all of his picks this year
my sole concern with clowney is his motivation and desire to play football... really those are minor niggles and as such if caldwell and bradley believe they can get the best out of him that is enough for me to be sold on him i like bridgewater, he is talented and exciting and his style of play reminds me of aaron rodgers as in I can move but i don't really need to because i'm going to pass you to death. I haven't seen a throw bridgewater can't make but like clowney there are some minor niggles has he been inflated by a poor level of competition... does he have the durability to last in the nfl.. could he improve his touch throws.. once again minor niggles in a solid qb that have been enhanced by the fact that a truly special prospect in andrew luck came out recently and the bar is now being measured against him. If caldwell and bradley believe he is the guy once again it is enough for me to be sold on him. At the end of the day there is a 2 in 3 chance a once in a lifetime prospect will fall into our lap i'm happy with either
Quote:He doesn't get it. Many don't. No, you don't get it. Quote:A good man corner doesn't need an elite pass rush to succeed. He is on an island with his man. Disruption of the QB can definitely benefit a good man corner, but it is not necessary.AS evident in your cluelessness by even thinking this.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Quote:I honestly hope it didn't take you this long to realize that he was clueless. Other clueless people even think he is especially clueless. It's like a double whammy.

Sure he didn't play against the SEC or Pac 12, but he played at Louisville. The level of competition pretty much matched the talent he had around him. It's not like he was playing on a team loaded with NFL talent beating up on poor competition.

He's a good guy and a buddy. I probably should have re-worded that.

Quote:No, you don't get it. Why weren't JJ Watt or Robert Quinn in the playoffs?
Quote:Why weren't JJ Watt or Robert Quinn in the playoffs?Just because we get Clowney doesnt mean we wont get a QB. We have more than one pick
Quote:Just because we get Clowney doesnt mean we wont get a QB. We have more than one pickSorry to be such a Teddy lover, but I think there is a pretty large gap between Bridgewater and everyone else especially guys projected to go in the 2nd round or lower. The only qbs I like out of the bunch are Garrupolo and Matthews...Murray too
Quote:Sorry to be such a Teddy lover, but I think there is a pretty large gap between Bridgewater and everyone else especially guys projected to go in the 2nd round or lower. You can probably get Murray in the 4th or 5th and I dont see that big of a gap between the 2. I think Murray will turn out to be a better pro QB than Teddy We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Murray is a very smart kid but he doesn't have the natural post snap abilities that Bridgewater has

Quote:Eh, Bridgewater is more refined and has a stronger arm the Murray.I disagree, Murray also has a bettter deep ball.
Quote:I disagree, Murray also has a bettter deep ball.its hard to tell because of the difference offenses they run. Bridgewater runs a more west coast style offense so the 9 route is not as important a route. He doesn't practice it too much. Murray's offense is more vertically based so he will be throwing deeper more often. Bridgewater also has better pocket presence and mobility within the pocket as well.
Bridgewater is one of the best post snap qbs I have ever seen at the college ranks. He is fluid, patient and clarevoyent
