Johnny Football

Quote:Are you kidding? He's been laying wood to guys twice his size since he was a sophomore in HS......dude is tough as nails.....of course, he'll be learning to slide when he does run.....if Houston doesn't take him at #1, I really think they'll live to regret it
What are you talking about????

He's been getting wood laid on him his entire time in college.

Every time he tries to put his shoulders down, he becomes the nail.

People are nuts around here, Houston has nothing to worry about by passing Manziel. I hope the Teetans get him, would sandbag em like Young except without the wins.

Quote:Cue the excuses

Right on schedule

If you paid attention to the game, you noticed LSU kept him from rolling left and confined him to the pocket, thats what happened

If it was Gabbert, he wouldn't even had played......ya know, every time I log in here, you are either pimping Teddy or beating down Johnny....what's up with that? Are you okay?

Gabbert is Gabbert, complete garbage.

I like Murray, Jimmy G and Matthews as well

I am not beating down on Johnny, I am just trying to tell you how it is.

Fact of the matter the only two positives of us drafting Johnny is piggy bank getting fatter and we have a chance at winston the year after next.

I would prefer Winston coming out in his RSJR year, would be polished and ready to step in immediately for us.

You take it so personal because I am honest about the situation. I can see why the they would want Teddy but I hope they take Manziel...

Best case scenario for us

How would you know that about my character? You make stuff up......just like your arguments. You should spend a day rereading all of your posts. 1000 posts saying the same thing. Time to branch out son. There's life after Bridgewater. I can hook you up with a good support group after the draft. Get to bed. You need to save your strength for tomorrow so you can bore us with another hundred pro-Teddy anti-Manziel posts saying virtually the same thing. I can't wait.

1. Bridgewater

2. Murray

3. Jimmy G

4. Jeff Matthews

My bad. I apologize....that last post was mean. I shouldn't squelch your enthusiasm. We're all Jags fans. We all want the best for our team. We just have different ideas how to get there. Go Jags.

Quote:Clowney I can understand, thats about it though.

Lets face it, Manziel is a train wreck, we have no one to toss Watkins the rock and Bortles needs way too much refinement at this point

What refinement does Bortles need?

Accuracy, mainly. He leads receivers well in the intermediate but not so much on the sidelines or deep. He also has a bad habit of picking up his feet as he's making a throw. He has a lot of physical potential, but IMO he lacks the finesse of Bridgewater's game and the playmaking ability that Johnny possesses.

This fixation with Bridgewater is really, really, weird.

Why is it weird for the fans of a team picking 3rd, who are in desperate need of a franchise QB, to be fixated on arguably the best player at the biggest position of need on the team?
