Jalen Ramsey has asked for trade (merged)
|
Miami has 3 1st round picks. That's my price.
Fire Moron Thursday night, no matter the outcome. Have a team meeting Friday morning where TC takes over. Listen to all the issues from the players, no talking from coaches. Tell them to relax over the weekend and the bus leaves Monday morning. Either get on or get run over. Provide them with a list of all the issues and what is being done to address them or no not changing. Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk We show less advertisements to registered users. Can’t trade Ramsey, he’s too good, in his prime, and a leader on this team. Is this where the league is headed where players can just ask for trades when they don’t like something and the FO has to oblige?
You guys think its safe to say ramsey will not be playing thursday night? If they've decided to trade him, they wont risk injury. Bad week for this stuff to pop up, or good week depeneding on his intent. Crazy stuff, never a dull moment in jax.

Caldwell: "Well, we know how much you enjoyed Gus Bradley's scheme, so we've got an offer on the table from San Diego that we're going to accept." Ramsey: "OH HELLLLLLLLLLL NO!" Caldwell: "Wait, so you don't want to be traded?" Ramsey: "Not to play for Gus again!" Caldwell: "Oh, ok. Well, geez, I mean, we tried, but that's the only offer that made sense for us. I guess, I mean, you're welcome to stay here then. Locker room's that way. Go get dressed for practice." (09-17-2019, 12:13 AM)p_rushing Wrote: Miami has 3 1st round picks. That's my price. If he practices then he will play. He really does want to compete and will play if he is dressed. He may be disconnected emotionally, but he won't let it affect his play. He is too much of a competitor to do that. Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

So with that in consideration, I'd have to think he is weighing choosing Ramsey. It's not like we are talking about an elite coach here.(09-16-2019, 11:45 PM)The_Franchise_QB Wrote: Chiefs? From Miami's standpoint it'd make no sense tbh. They are in firesale mode, aka collect all the picks we can mode. The want to press the reset button and get a new franchise QB and build around him with cheap talented high draft choices... AKA the BROWNS way. Can't blame them, because on paper atleast... the Browns are stacked. I'd be shocked to see that team trade for a player.
Jaguars front office love defensive linemen. Should they trade Ramsey for Taco Charlton and a first.

If Ramsey is traded, we need to make a profit, because he is an elite player. Trading him away for just another first round pick is taking a loss. We'd inevitably use that pick to find his replacement and we already had a good CB. Why trade him, if all we'd get was a pick to gamble on finding a guy to replace him? That makes no sense. If we get a first and a third, that just isn't enough. It's basically only getting a 3rd round pick in return, because that first will again, be used to find his replacement. We have to at least, get two first round picks or a combination of a first, a third and an good, established NFL starter at a need area, before I even consider trading him, (which I really don't want to.) If he is traded, we might as well trade a couple other high profile players who aren't living up to the hype, ala Fournette and possibly Norwell. I'd definitely want a first rounder for Norwell and I would see what offers I could get for Fournette, but whatever offer I got for Fournette, would have to include a young RB as well as a high round pick.
Lol, he deleted Jaguars from Instagram, facebook, Myspace. I now have closure. Goodbye Jalen Ramsey.
This team and organization is about to be a door mat again. Khan will have to clean house again.
No pain, no gain.

Not if Minshew turns out to be an elite qb and dj chark turns out to be an elite #1 with Conley a productive #2 and westbrook an elite slot receiver. All that is missing is a fast, shifty rb and a decent te.

He saw what A.B. did and he thinks he will get the same outcome. We're between a rock and a hard place, because the front office failed to see the immense shortcomings of this coaching staff and now the relationship between our star player and our team could be irreparably damaged. Whatever the case, we cannot get so frustrated that we take a low ball offer just to make the problem go away. Jalen Ramsey is not Minkah Fitzpatrick. He is infinitely better and would command much more than a single first round pick. I'm scared to death, this front office is going to take a low ball offer just to make this issue go away. If they do, we need to show them our displeasure by not going to games and not even watching on TV. Hopefully, this problem gets worked out and Ramsey and the Jags can stay together, but something tells me that's not gonna happen. Tunsil netted two 1sts and a 2nd and he isn't even half the player that Ramsey is. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Then as fans, we need to stop going to games or following the team. That's the only leverage we have to show them that things need to change. I'm tired of our team doing the same things over and over with a failing result. Coaching re-treads rarely work. We need a young, offensive minded head coach who can get the offense on par with the talent we have on defense and an aggressive DC who recognizes the talent we have on defense and uses that talent in the right schemes.
