Here's what I don't get: what kind of deal would the Cowboys pass up if they're just going to cut him? Everything I'm reading suggests that they had at least one offer for him and passed. Why? Even a conditional seventh is better than just getting nothing in return for your first-round pick.

And no, I'd rather not see him signed. We've already got one guy in the locker room making lots of noise about being traded.

The reality is that with Ngakoue, Allen, Smoot and McCray we really don't need the guy.
If he were playing up to his draft position and not having behavior issues that made him a healthy scratch for two games in Dallas... then maybe.

But the most damning comments out of Dallas are that he's in year three and the "light hasn't come on yet."
