If we're dibsing for the next one, mark me down for the Browns.

2015 NFL Draft - Analyzing Targets www.jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/7892-2015-nfl-draft-analyzing-targets/
No dibs. Following a suggestion, I think its fair to get the 32 GMs and randomly draw for teams giving people time to research that team and their needs. I am thinking of laying out the full ground rules soup to nuts and I will try to reach out to anyone who expressed interest first before opening it to the forum. Then nailing down a date and time. Having thought further on this, it may not be at noon ultimately as we may have interest from people abroad (further proof of the logistical cluster putting a team in London would be).
Only a chump boos the home team!

I would like to express my interest to be one of the 32 GMs, if this comes to fruition.
Quote:I didn't go DT at 10. That's BAP all the way.You didnt go BAP Master of all pro scouts Gil Brandt still had his number 6 on the board and you went with number 11 and could of went with his number 1 guy at 3 ![]() http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000...pects-list

Quote:You didnt go BAP No big deal. I had already read a lot of information about the quarterback class, evaluated what video there is, and traded out of the third spot. No way that Bortles is a top draft prospect. Bortles' fast-rising quarterback status is nothing new. It's called over-drafting quarterback. That's just the power of the Gator-infested media on a down year for the Florida Gators. UCF is just the next best thing. Binky to Bart to the New York market. They can sell anything. Again, going back to some of the stuff I mentioned weeks ago (prior to this mock draft), none of the quarterbacks in this class are elite. You can shred Bortles to ribbons just on You Tube video. You can't do that with an elite quarterback prospect because they are seriously that much better than normal. NFL's Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis, etc. made it clear that the reason Bridgewater, Manziel, Bortles etc. are going to sit atop their mock drafts directly relates NOT to elite talent, but rather, the panic-driven quarterback market. NFL Media draft analyst Charles Davis said on the same podcast that he likes Bridgewater "a bunch." But he also said, "I'm not sure he's a top-10 guy, but I think he may get picked in the top 10." Davis said quarterbacks often get overrated because if an NFL team doesn't have a guy it can count on at the position, "You're in trouble. I think sometimes we artificially boost these guys up because people are just terrified. What's the alternative? What do we do? Where do we go?" - http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000...-overhyped The problem is bad drafting advice is like a tree fungus around Jacksonville. The source is the Florida Times Union.

PAJagsFan,
I like your pick. Tall. Lanky. Tough. Physical against the run. Punishing tackler. Can get messed up on misdirection option tosses, and despite exceptional speed doesn't seem to have success when Oklahoma State blitzed him. (viewed Oklahoma v. OSU, 2013). One of the all-time great college kick-off returners, too.

I just observed the Giants pick fiasco and figured you guys would want people who can take a couple minutes away from their busy days to actually make an informed selection and not whine about who their favorite team picked.
Quote:No big deal.He actually isnt a fast rising prospect. He was on the map last year as well, people didnt think he was gonna come out this year and he improved a lot through out the year. Master of all pro scouts Gil Brandt has Manziel at 1 and Bortles at 6 so it has to be right! I actually agree with Manziel at 1 and Clowney at 2 but Bortles should be at 3. My top 3 bigboard 1. Manziel 2. Clowney 3. Bortles I would put Matthews at 3 but we dont need a OT so I move Bortles up one over Matthews We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
All I see is trades. But the wrong way you grab clowney and call it a day. We will not win if cant rush the passer.

Looking to move back to the bottom of the first in exchange for a third... (since there's no fourth rounders)

yeah but that second rounder position isn't justifiable for only getting a second and a third
although i do like that you got Lee at that spot in the first, Hopefully he pays off. It'd make jets fans happy to have something on offense to watch again. ![]() |
