I will stick by my guns and go with Murray.   he hits his receivers.  he fools the defense.  he makes tough throws.   Too bad he got injured.  Still say we should take him.  Clowney then Murray great draft.

Quote:Until someone shows me indisputable visual evidence somebody not projected to go in the top five is good enough to be a franchise quarterback, I will only accept Teddy, Johnny, or Blake at #3 and a different position in the second round. Do you think Garoppolo and Fales have what it takes to be a franchise quarterback, not just an upgrade over Chad Henne?
Now wait, you actually believe that Teddy, Johnny or Biff belong in the top ten?

I don't want a quarterback that can't throw at the Combine.

One of the first things you notice is how many college football coaches are sorry coaches.

Not a single college football head coach doesn't know that in order to become a pro football quarterback a college prospect must have the ability to play the position under center.

If you watch the videos, if you do NOT see any quarterback take the snap from under center, drop back and make completions with relative ease, just scratch that quarterback off your first round pick list.

I agree with Jungle Cat. For instance, I like Carrs athleticism and arm strength, but I would never take him in the first round. He would have to learn how to be under center and improvehis poise under pressure... I think he would be terrible if he had to play as a rookie

The same NFL where all the top QB in the league take a majority of snaps from the shotgun ? The same NFL where knowing how to take a snap under center is not important at all and very easy to coach ? That NFL ?
