I remember watching his first games after taking over for Matt Stafford and remembering some of the best deep balls I had ever seen and thought he was the next great qb

I think you are highly confused in one way or another.

Murray chokes in big games. No thanks.

Connor Shaw is the most underrated QB in the draft and I'm going to keep saying that like I did with Russell Wilson 2 years ago.

I like Murray a lot. He is a very underrated passer. I love his release and the way the ball looks in the air. It reminds me of Drew Brees. Look at Murray's tape and then look at Drew Brees (or vice versa), the balls they throw look very similar if not identical.

That said I am happy Murray's tape shows a lot of batted balls at the LOS and some questionable decision making at times. If not for that, Murray would be a 1st round talent in scouts eyes and at minimum a 2nd rounder.

I am hoping his stock doesn't increase too much because I would prefer the Jags take him in the 3rd or 4th round.

Murray is smaller than Bridgewater, yet Bridgewater is one hit away. HUH?

There are a few aspects of Murray's game that I absolutely love;
  • There isn't a throw that he can't make or won't try. He has an NFL Caliber arm and will go to every level of the field
  • He's a four year starting QB in a pro-style offense at the SEC level, and those just don't come around that often.
  • He lost a lot of weapons this season, and was still productive. He was running the offense on the field with Scout Squad guys and fifth stringers, and he still put up decent numbers.
  • He's committed to ball. He showed up at the Senior Bowl and went through all of the practices even though he wasn't going to play. That's the kind of thing that I love.
That doesn't mean he's perfect though.
  • He is not the ideal height, which means that he may end up having trouble getting the ball out.
  • He finally came around to winning the "big" games, but why was that? Why did it take him so long?
I would not be upset having A. Murray on this roster next season, pursuant to the price of course.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Quote:Cause be nice to have a real qb.   Bridgewater is one hit away from injury.    Bortles does not impress me.  Locks onto receiver throws dinks.   Johnny Football is decent but way over hyped.   Carr level of competition worries me.   And it helps endorsed by Dungy who got to see manning all them years.    And i believe he knows qbs more then any of ous do.    His super quick release will help out in Nfl as well.

Just my opinion.   Tired of seeing the Jags get shafted.
LOL You say Bridgewater is one hit away from Injury but you pick a guy smaller then him that is already injured hahaha ok stop

Not sure how Murray who is 6'0" 200 pounds is less likely to get injured than Bridgewater...?

But anyways, I would absolutely love for the Jaguars to be able to pick up Murray in the 4th-5th. I think he is definitely underrated and being overlooked.

But Murray isn't a running back.

Murray could be Drew Brees

Bridgewater could be a stronger armed Joe Montana

(skill set wise, not career trajectory)
