Accuracy, mainly. He leads receivers well in the intermediate but not so much on the sidelines or deep. He also has a bad habit of picking up his feet as he's making a throw. He has a lot of physical potential, but IMO he lacks the finesse of Bridgewater's game and the playmaking ability that Johnny possesses.

No qb has the playmaking skills of manziel but that shouldn't be a knock. He made plenty of ad-lib plays this year (some in clutch situations).


Needs help deep, yet throws the deep ball better than bridgewater. One small issue with throwing isn't much refinement and is normal for most rookie qbs not named luck. If any qbs need refinement this year it's Manziel and Carr.


Look, bridgewater is my too guy but he is making some of you blind to other prospects. You automatically discount a player because he's not teddy.

Johnny Manziel's escapability 'best I've seen'. I havnt really ever seen him take a really big hit like Teddy who I have seen him take huge hits a few different times

I watched Manziel, I love his style of play. However the helterskelter doesn't work well in the NFL.

 

For Manziel to be even effective, we would have to have Chip Kelly, we don't...

Bridgewater was also playing a pro style offense with lesser talent surrounding him. Give me the guy who plays the position like a NFL qb would and doesn't come from a gimmicky system. Manziel will get killed in the NFL...see RG3 with less speed and talent.
