Johnny Football
|
Quote:Accuracy, mainly. He leads receivers well in the intermediate but not so much on the sidelines or deep. He also has a bad habit of picking up his feet as he's making a throw. He has a lot of physical potential, but IMO he lacks the finesse of Bridgewater's game and the playmaking ability that Johnny possesses. No qb has the playmaking skills of manziel but that shouldn't be a knock. He made plenty of ad-lib plays this year (some in clutch situations). Needs help deep, yet throws the deep ball better than bridgewater. One small issue with throwing isn't much refinement and is normal for most rookie qbs not named luck. If any qbs need refinement this year it's Manziel and Carr. Look, bridgewater is my too guy but he is making some of you blind to other prospects. You automatically discount a player because he's not teddy. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Why is it weird for the fans of a team picking 3rd, who are in desperate need of a franchise QB, to be fixated on arguably the best player at the biggest position of need on the team?Weird because the guy jumps into thread upon thread like he's Bridgewater's mother. Arguably the best, is a matter of opinion. ![]() Quote:Johnny Manziel's escapability 'best I've seen'. I havnt really ever seen him take a really big hit like Teddy who I have seen him take huge hits a few different timeslol...right up till he gets in the NFL where the players are as fast or faster than johnny ego....guess which QB of the two was injured more in college.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.
If you can tell me which one will be the better QB, that's the one i will side with. I don't care who the QB is that will make this team better i just want a good QB. Heck, it can even be Gabbert and I wouldnt care as long as we win and go to the playoffs!
Quote:This fixation with Bridgewater is really, really, weird. I had my doctor explain it to me. Ya know how if you're bitten by a zombie, you then become a zombie. Then you become fixated on biting other non-zombies so they become just like you. It becomes a 24 hr. A day obsession. I think he referred to it as Teddizombism. Eventually, you succumb to spontaneous combustion. Unfortunately, that's what happened to Vagrantwade. God bless his soul. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:I go the lulzzzzzzzz You're a good kid. I feel bad you got bit by Vagrantwade and became a Teddy Zombie. My doctor says you can cure yourself by watching 24 hours of Manziel tape consecutively without saying or typing the word "Bridgewater". You will also need to take down the 57 Bridgewater posters off your bedroom wall for it to work. Also, change out of your Teddy Bridgewater boxers as well. Hope this works. Good luck. We're all rooting for ya. Godspeed. Quote:Nice all top 10 picks except Murray and jimmy anything deeper or do you not want to be wrong? Jeff Mathews isn't going top 10.

We're all rooting for ya. Godspeed.I watched Manziel, I love his style of play. However the helterskelter doesn't work well in the NFL. For Manziel to be even effective, we would have to have Chip Kelly, we don't... I am just a fan of pocket passers. I believe Bridgewater could be great run. I have a question. What if Bridgewater should up to the combine at 215-220 and ran a 4.45-4.5 and demonstrated upper tier velocity on his deep throws, would you change your mind? I think Teddy is fast enough and, like Manziel, he will beef up some.....I prefer Bridgewater slightly over Manziel anyway.....that could change after the combine.....whoever Dave picks, I'll be happy....although I hope he doesn't go one of the OTs for the #3 pick

I don't understand why people doubt Manziel. His size may be an issue, but he has huge hands and feet and is still growing. His maturity may be an issue, but he turned down the Super Bowl and endorsements (money) to continue training in San Diego. Manziel can make plays and did so against the best defenses in all of college football. Bridgewater was playing teams like Cincinatti while Manziel is playing Alabama. I pray to God we don't mess this draft up and get anyone other the Johnny Jaguar.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Give me the guy who plays the position like a NFL qb would and doesn't come from a gimmicky system. Manziel will get killed in the NFL...see RG3 with less speed and talent.
