Ramsey Updates (merged)

(10-09-2019, 03:34 PM)JagNGeorgia Wrote: Marrone said, during the presser today, that the team is enduring because they care about each other. He seemed to emphasize this point, and I wonder how much Ramsey hurts their camaraderie. Ramsey may be a good friend, but he may also be a bad teammate. I can't help but believe that demanding a trade from the team wouldn't also be construed to be a trade away from your teammates / brothers.

The thing that people seem to not remember is that this is a business for these guys.  I don't think that he's a "cancer" in the locker room as far as his teammates go.  I don't question his devotion to his teammates and don't question their devotion to him.  I also don't think that sitting out the last couple of weeks with the alleged "back injury" necessarily "hurts" him or his trade value... at this point.  I do think that IF he plays he will give it his all and do his best.

I could be way off-base on this, but I think he'll be fine with his teammates.  Not so much so with the fans.

The best scenario in my head for this Sunday is that:

1. Ramsey plays Sunday
2. Ramsey gets destroyed by Thomas to the tune of 200 yards3 TDs, leaves game (back issues)
3. Minshew leads the Jags to a shootout WIN
4. Herndon seals the game with a INT

Football gods... one time let’s this all happen...

Yeah this doesn’t help his trade value, but it sure will make him look like a straight [BLEEP].

Was it actually Ramsey at practice today? He has been caught lying 500x this past couple weeks with the fake baby, fake injury, fake doctor, and fake Watson.

Ramsey taking the football equivalent of the walk of shame. What a clown this guy is. He also needs to do something about that hair. Looks like a bad version of Kid in Class Act.

Depends what you've been eating really.

Now that's good. I have been pondering this for a while as I actually know Rico and he's capable of doing many things.

If Michael Thomas did get 200 yards, I'm sure the narrative will be that his back was really hurting and he tried to play and give it his all.

While I'm annoyed with Jalen Ramsey, I'm still hoping he shuts down Thomas, we win the game, and his trade value skyrockets even more.

Yeah you’re right for sure, and that’s definitely the better outcome. Part of me just wants karma/reality to drop him on his [BLEEP].

End of the day though... just get that win... whatever it takes. We need it.

We win the next 5 games and this will all be water under the bridge.

Why do you and Jagibelieve want so many players to get hair cuts

What does his hair have to do with playing football?

Are you the guy from Penn State who wrote a letter saying that the players need to be clean cut because "it's the Penn State way" and they should cut their dreadlocks?

Get a grip dude.

Amen brother and I can't agree with you more because it comes across as racist when Caucasians Americans tells an African American male to cut his hair especially when it is not their place to make such suggestion.

Well, i'm a white male....and don't mind dreadlocks or the close tight cornrows....or the Calius look however the man wants to present.
but that "exploding" look he was rocking when he freed up the cornrows was not very flattering.
You have to admit.
Maybe that was just something done to free up his brain...lol.

Yeah, because people have never told white males with long hair to get a hair cut. Rolleyes  There's nothing racist about it.

It only comes across as racist because you want it to. White people have messy hair too.

And why are we worried about the hairstyles of players again? Should you post a pic of yourself so we can critique you?

Would it be different if a white person were to say another white person needs a hair cut?

I say it all the time... "get a haircut, ya hippie"
Talking about someone's haircut, style, or whatever is just spouting an opinion.

It's only racist when people try to make it so, usually as a critique of a white persons opinion.
