The issue was not that he hurt his hand, the issue was that he hurt his hand knocking down passes IN A WALK-THROUGH, AGAINST THE COACHES' DIRECT ORDERS. But divas don't like being told what to do.

Players should have more power and be able to pick what they want to do. But but this isnt fair, he shouldnt be bossed around like this. It's just not fair. bwhahahahahaDude. What in the world are you talking about? hahaha
My question is: if the Jags trade Ramsey, does that mean the half dozen or so MB posters who are so faithfully riding his jock traded, too?

Instead of listening to his body he might want to start listening to his brain get on the field and show why another team might want him. If he is truly injured then I don’t think anyone would expect them to play. I don’t know whether to believe him or not at this point. If it turns out that he’s just milking this injury because he doesn’t want to play then I’d send him home and tell him to come back when he’s ready to play football let them sit out the year or grow up.
Where is Drew Rosenhaus when you need him. Someone needs to give Yan and Ramsey his number. These 2 guys get horrible advice from their agents

Do you not realize how incredibly stupid it is for a coach to tell a player, who's literal job is to break up passes and not let the receiver catch it... to not do his job... You never heard of the old saying, "you play how you practice"?.. That's like telling a RB not to run, or a QB not to throw.. We show less advertisements to registered users. But divas don't like being told what to do. I like competitiveness across the board. Even if it's practice or a walk through. It should only bring out the best in your teammates. Nobody's asking him to put out a WR or TE with Ronnie Lott like hits over the middle of course. But if it's just a case of playing the ball or trying to jam a receiver or break up a pass? All is fair. These guys barely practice now anyway. They get off easy in today's NFL. (10-10-2019, 07:48 PM)flgatorsandjags Wrote:(10-10-2019, 01:23 PM)Cleatwood Wrote: Dude. Rumor is he wont play. I would start finding him every game and not trade him at the end of the year as well. Hopefully Khan does this. Let him sit 2 years without pay then franchise him. Hit girl where it hurts, right in the va j j
Herndon has only had 1 bad game The last person you want to mess with is Khan The last person you want to mess with is Khan Ramsey trying to steal Khans money and Khan is seeing this. I believe it was Ertz. But I don't recall his name being thrown out there in particular. I do know that a pair of 1st RD picks were turned down. They could very well be thinking of trading him off still but they're pushing it up to the deadline as much as they can to see if they can get even more value out of a trade with someone. Makes sense. I think Khan is just trying to keep a good public image for his Franchise. Players will come and go. As will coaches. Owners tend to stick around forever since they're obviously invested in it for the long haul. It's interesting that we've seen comments made now publicly from just about everybody EXCEPT for Dave Caldwell and Tom Coughlin. It's smart business. Then after they trade him Khan can always say "Hey, I offered him a king's ransom on paper. He didn't want it. And I cannot force a player to stay here if he doesn't want to be here. So we did what was best for our team, our fans and this city and for Jalen and his family". Good PR. ![]() ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Yeah I would take two firsts and Ertz.... but something tells me the iggles wouldn't actually offer that. The only offer I ever heard about was a 1 and a 2 and a 3rd string TE from Balt. Which we absolutely should have balked at. Jags still hold the cards in this Ramsey fiasco. Teams either pay up what he's worth or we force him to stick around here until his contract is up, imo. And then we can tag and play hardball that way too or let him walk and collect a comp pick, which wouldn't be ideal but that's the game of chicken the team has to play right now I think
Wasnt it we get two firsts but give up Ramsey and a 2nd?

Not sure I'd take that though. Ramsey and a 2nd (2020) for a 1st and a future 1st (2020, 2021) I ain't feeling that. |
